I never want to hear the team “radical left” ever again.
The other day my dad went on some rant about the radical left, and cried that dem senators weren’t doing their job when they walked out on the ACB vote, and then emphasized that I’d republican senators weren’t doing their job, he’d call them out about it too.
I asked him about 2016, when republican senators wouldn’t even have a hearing for scotus, not to mention the hundreds of bills passed by Congress that are collecting dust on Mitch’s desk.
He changed the conversation to the weather.
I have some family like that....i don't talk to them anymore. At all.
I have pretty much cut all the trump loving closet racist family members totally out of my life. No lectures. Just no more communication/interaction.
I guess it would be harder to do if it was my dad, but my parents aren't republicans/trump supporters, so we haven't had to cross that bridge.

I had an estranged aunt who I haven’t seen or spoken to in years seek me out on FB to give me a lecture about how my family should be Republican.
Blocked.

What are percentages of each candidate winning? Everything I’ve seen seems to be about an 85/15 chance it’s Biden winning. Heard the same?

I have an aunt and uncle who i was close with.....they never really talked about their political stances until trump (or maybe since their old asses weren't on social media i just didn't notice or pay attentio)....but then they got looney. And post all sorts or ridiculous stuff. My aunt was very close with my wife and daughter. Now we don't talk to them hardly at all. I talk to them none. My wife is polite so she still responds to texts and stuff, but i just can't do it.
I can only imagine the stuff they would have posted during the obama years if they had facebook then. My lord.
My wife's cousin completely cut her parents off....she tried to explain the BLM movement and they continued to post overtly racist shit and she totally cut them off. Ripped them both a new asshole on 1 of their facebook posts, moved to the Ozarks with her now fiance and doesn't speak a word to them. I am sure it was hard but she has said she doesn't have energy for people who won't accept or adjust their own ignorance and she won't tolerate hateful people in her life. She is one of those fierce women who stand up for what they believe is right and i love her for it.

You said, "I can only imagine the stuff they would have posted during the obama years if they had facebook then".
It took Trump for them to want to post on Facebook? I would think they would have been happier posting negative shit about Obama than positive shit about Trump. Their loss.
I appreciate people being candid about their fucked up relatives. I guess I have been blessed.
Not to say ALL my relatives and I are on the same page/s politically but when we disagree - we do it respectfully and attempt to have conversations more than lectures. One thing I can proudly say, I am confident ALL of my relatives are really good people. Again, I have been blessed - and I realize I am extremely fortunate in that regard - and unfortunately how unusual it is.

Trump just had another tweet flagged. Here is what it says:
"ANY VOTE THAT CAME IN AFTER ELECTION DAY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!"
At what point does Twitter just shut down his account?

Don’t talk politics with family. Problem solved.
You people aren’t the smartest if you let politics get in the way of you and your loved ones.

What advice then would you have for my dad, who seems adamant about not letting loved ones get in the way of his politics?

They may have had facebook during the Obama years and i just wasn't friends with them during that time....i am not sure tbh.
I do know my dad had a falling out with them during the obama years (it is my moms brother and his wife) because he said to take him off his chain email list becuase they would send tons of conspiracy theory chain emails and racist joke type emails.
You are lucky if you don't have to deal with the awkwardness. I can't be as rude to certain members of my wife's family as i am to mine so i just don't talk to them if i am ever around them. Trump really exposed a lot of people imo.

That is fair....and i agree to an extent.
But i don't/won't bother loving someone who says racist shit or is totally bigoted/ignorant.
Especially not when they scream it from the mountaintop on facebook.
Sorry not sorry. Buh bye is what they get.

I always tell my dad that whenever he inevitably ends up going off the deep end i am going to take him out back and shoot him. Quick and clean. Save my mom the headache of dealing with his ass.

I don't blame him. I blame them. They aren't my issues. They are theirs.
I can tolerate a DT supporter. But not a racist.

If someone shouldn't at least partially blame him for their personal issues then they sure as heck better not give him credit for their personal successes either.
Which I am led to believe is the reason why many if not most people claim they support him.

What constitutes a mandatory recount? Is it possible GA ends up that way? I’m asking because I have no idea.
