What's the over-under on when those start flying around, if not already!

Back at the end of January, I said what I thought needed to be said. No regrets.

DrPepper wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 9:33 am If you needed to shelter in place (your residence) for 2 months (arbitrary period), could you do it? A scenario where utilities continue to run (eg electricity, water), but no deliveries (eg mail, amazon, pizza).

2 months of any meds
OTC meds: Tylenol
Toilet paper, toothpaste, tissues
Lysol, trashbags
Food
Boredom breakers
Condoms or similar
Diapers
Supplies for pets (eg food, litter)

It would be remiss to not discuss this why we still can do something. None of these things cost much or would go to waste.

Absent some very very bad mutation, that's just not where this seems to be heading.

Presently, we can't force people in the US to self-isolate (stay at home for 14 days to see if symptoms develop). Supposedly we need an Executive order to do that.

So, how many people who were on the last plane from Italy are in your building today?

Why is there no Executive order?
Why do people traveling from China keep getting singled out?

The answers for the last two questions seem fairly obvious.

I'm going to the grocery store tonight.
Apparently the stores have been hit hard where there isn't any rice or beans or toilet paper.
I just hope they have condoms or similar.

Yea, if only people could afford to visit a doctor and to miss time from work to take care of their health.

I just looked up my county’s health Dept website. Only China is singled out. What about Italy and South Korea (also Level 3 areas)?

Apparently our Executive branch like to single out China and Iran.

I read about a guy who got tested with a negative result and was charged 3,000 and insurance wouldn't cover.
Gee thanks for doing the right thing.
