I don't think twocoach spews talking points. Obviously, his thoughts are affected by what he reads, but I don't think he is mindlessly repeating anything from rote.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 12:57 pmHe just spews talking points from the left. He's not being genuine in nearly 100% of his dialogue on here with who he views as people on the "right" and it's obvious. It's why when you (or others) provide stats or worthwhile counterpoints he ignores those comments and moves onto something else (easier).DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 12:43 pmlulztwocoach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 12:39 pm
Nope. Cut some staff by getting rid of a bunch of admins, paper pushers and managers/directors and roll a chuck of their actual agents under CBP.
It's called streamlining and eliminating duplicate functionality to save money, time and reduce inconsistencies in policy and procedure.
That's not the point of the Abolish ICE and Occupy ICE movements and you know it.

Frankly, it's barely worth arguing because I know he doesn't actually give a shit about it and is just stirring the pot. There, genuine enough?
In truth, I care about it a great deal, as it confirms, yet again, what it is the Left is after in its attempts to enlarge and control the bureaucratic state.

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
So they want to enlarge the beaurocratic state by reforming/eliminating a government agency? I am curious as to how those two things go together.DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 1:28 pmtwocoach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 1:06 pmYou want genuine? Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
Isn't the Right's entire immigration platform about wanting to fix the broken immigration system? Building a big ass wall and running around Sheriff Joe style is hardly "fixing" anything.
Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
This game where you make some vague half point and then slap all the people trying to translate your cryptic messages is fun and all for everyone else, but maybe we can skip three pages of "lulz" and "you're an idiot" and just skip straight to the point.
Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
No one would be interested, which is why I left it vague in the first place.

I am interested. It's why I asked. Look, we can't all keep assuming thar no one wants to hear the other sides point. Too many people have simply stopped listening. We may disagree, but I actually am interested in hearing the thoughts of people who think differently than I do provided they arent just insults, smartass zings, poop flings and regurgitated memes from Instagram.

That's really how shallow he is.

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
Maybe I am weird? I don't know. I freely admit to not knowing everything. The most brilliant minds in the world don't know everything.
My grandfather lived to 97 largely because he was always yearning to learn new stuff. My goal is to top that number using the same drive to keep my brain active.
It's why I like people to link their sources. It's interesting to me to see the perspective in which that information was provided, even if I think it's crazy bunk.

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread
Trump invited several Dems to the White House, undoubtedly to try to flip them or at least prezent the optic that they are considering flipping on his border stance. All declined. I would bet money they were sll from districts/states that Trump won in 2016 and he was trying to pressure them.
I thought this guy was some great deal maker? He seems to kinda suck at this. The Dems seem united in their "open the government and then we'll talk" message. How much longer will he flail away at this?
