Really hate the CFB Championship being so late. Felt like it's been forever. Should have been a week ago.

That being said, I have a little dough on LSU -5 and the under.

Geaux Tigers!

It's like they forget that football games last 4+ hours and that the most important part is the outcome.

I mean, I guess they want to maximize eyes on the tube for kickoff and halftime.

But I won't watch cause I don't give a shit about Clemson or LSU (or the american south really) not because of time.

I’m glad I live in Mountain time. Game on at normal time.

Was thinking how much I don’t like the South a few minutes before I read the thread tonight though. 3 years living in Louisiana (the woods part) and 3 years in Virginia (the Redneck infested part) tainted the region for me.

The fact is, there is no longer enough football talent. It is spread thin across everywhere but the south. There are a few aberrations like tOSU. But the same crawler spews across the bottom of the screen. SEC vs Clemson

Just gonna start watching. Second half gonna start half hour past my bedtime. Of course if the Hawks were in this game I'd give a shit.

He's our only one on the list...but that's enough...

10. Gale Sayers (RB, Kansas, 1962-64)
Rushing yards: 2,675 | Yards per carry: 6.5 | Touchdowns: 20
Until his family moved to Omaha when he was 8 years old, Sayers lived in a small town named Speed, Kansas. He returned to the state as a Jayhawk, and made Lawrence the new Speed, Kansas. As a sophomore in 1962, Sayers immediately made his varsity presence known. He rushed for 114 yards in the season opener against TCU, and at midseason, Sayers torched Oklahoma State for a Big Eight-record 283 yards on only 22 carries. He was the first FBS player with a 99-yard rush. The "Kansas Comet" averaged 6.5 yards per carry in his Jayhawks career. He was a consensus All-American in 1963 and 1964. Sayers was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1977.

Hit on both! Parlay too!

LSU was clearly best team all year. Offense nearly unstoppable, best secondary in CFB. Just a great team. Clemson was damn good and couldn’t hang with LSU.

Clemson will be the favorites next year. For good reason.

So what was the deal with Bo Jackson? I think they had him at #3 in the pre-selection hype piece, but then did not mention him during the actual selection.

I don't know how you don't go Barry Sanders #1. His Heisman year was SOOOOOO much better than anything anyone else has done in a single season.

If you're going by one (Heisman) year, I'd say Joe Burrow's season this year was better than Sanders'...and probably anyone else's. Too soon, I know...

I know, I know as soon as you mention this guys name everyone goes crazy but I have no idea how you have the 'greatest' CFB players of all time and not mention Tebow. Because of the name he has become people tend to forget just how good and DOMINANT he was at Florida.

It was cool to see Sayers and Thorpe honored.

Burrow played 15 games and is 1st all time in TDs (by 2) and 3rd all time in passing yards (single season)
Sanders played 11 games and is 1st all time in TDs (by 4) and 1st all time in rushing yards (by almost 100 yards) [plus he had 222 yds and 5 TDs in a bowl game that don't count for his stats]
