I've said many times, my goal is not to convince anyone to agree with me.

But let's also be honest about how important I am to many of you. You cannot resist talking about me in at least a dozen threads, even when I haven't posted in days. If I wasn't here, you wouldn't know what to do with your time. It reminds me of how The Huffington Post had to lay off 44 people because Donald Trump is no longer in office. That would be this place without me.

Of course most big cities have Democrat Mayors. Meanwhile, it seems the Lobsters of this country actually believe (or at least try to convince others) if they had Republican Mayors there would be no poverty - or at least that poverty is caused by Democratic leadership.

Jacksonville, Oklahoma City, Fresno, Omaha, Miami, have or at least recently had Republican Mayors.
My uneducated guess is each one of those cities has a BIG problem with poverty. Yes? No?

100% agree and true that "even if you have a Republican Mayor that doesn't make it a Republican City" but it does make it a Republican run city.

I don't consider Fresno nor Omaha as being big cities but they are probably top 50 if not top 40 in population. I just used them as examples of cities with Republican Mayors that probably have a considerable amount (10% or more?) of people living in poverty.

Fresno has a pop. Of over 530k

Omaha has a pop. Of over 830k


Whats defined as a big city then?

Seattle proper has a population between those two.....is it not a big city either?

You have to have at least a million people in the metro. (And I'd probably make the cutoff more like 2 million) to call it a big city.

Seattle has like 4 million in the metro. Fresno and Omaha are both under a million.
