Your five dollar pacifico is only four seventy five right now guys.
It would be so cool if the sat shack went outta business.
No for real - would you be willing to let this place go under if it meant KU football was scoring so many touchdowns?
That’s a tough one

Its Walla Walla Frontier Days streaming live now at the bar and by the pool table.
I lost my favorite palm leaf hat at that Rodeo about a decade ago.

If pdub's letting all 99's jazz slide then he's gotta be cool with a little rodeo
wide brim hats are so underrated.
How far are you from the Walla Walla?
How far are you from the John Day?

Couple hrs from John Day. Hour 15 or so from WW depending on which way I go and the day.

right on.
an old fishing buddy guide friend just floated the John Day. He's a helluva fisherman, so I kinda don't think he's lying, but also a helluva fisherman in the sense I don't believe a goddamn word that comes out his mouth.
anywho so I just got a text from the guy about how he's just finishig a float on the John Day and "over 100 fish a day." Now all fishermen are liars, even me, no honest. but if it's a remote river full of smallmouth, and I'm pretty sure it is, I think it's legit.
but this was also the guide who caught more fish than anyone between the river and the shop. Like 3 of us guides would take a bunch of yall out fishing, then meet on the truck tailgates for a picanic lunch.
"How'd you guys do?" we landed 9.
Nice! our group landed 6.
OH WELL WE MUSTA LANDED 35 FISH.
oh. wow!
then we'd get back to the shop. The head guide (total looser) would ask how everybody did.
OH WELL WE DEFINITELY PUT 40 FISH IN THE NET.
ohhh. wow!
Then I'd check the guide log, to keep track of who was catching what and where.
in the guide log, dood would literally write "50+"
ohhhhhhhhhhh. wow!
the moral of the story is, if a guy like that tells you he was catching fish there, believe him.
anywho so let's fish the John Day!

Hmm. Wonder which part he floated. That river is super low...like....walk across it without getting your boots wet low. Its running at like 27 CFS...its typical August run is somewhere closer to 100-100 CFS. I wouldn't think floating it would be real feasible right now.
Guess that means the small mouth have nowhere to hide either so maybe they're easier to pick off right now.
