Self and staff called him one of the best shooters on the team. Just couldn't do anything else well enough.
What do you do with a smaller Jeremy Case?

He has one made FG. For the season. Also 2 Reb. And 1 PF.

I don't see where Bishop would fit in. Can he play next to Dave? On D probably, but that would be another non-shooter in the lineup. And do we just redshirt KJ and Clemence then?

Agree, I don't get it either. Made more sense when there were rumors that Sydney Curry wasn't coming.

Adams looks like a redshirt.

My bad, you're right. ESPN only gave me like his last 8 games initially. He has 4 made FGs in his 10 appearances. Still 2 Reb. Now 3 PF.

Still trying to figure out how that would work. You have lineups like
Yesufu
Braun
Wilson
Bishop
Dave

... not sure I like that. It's a slow lineup, I don't think it would be able to defend. A lot of size at the 2 and 3 I suppose. I also don't think you could have Harris or Thompson out there with Bishop and Dave unless they really improve their 3-point shooting.

Or maybe moreso that Bishop and Martin would come in together, like Traylor and Black used to, but then Bishop on offense would be on the inside while Martin is a threat on the perimeter?

I really don't understand the Bishop add, if that happens. He's an undersized center with no shooting touch, so it's not like he can stretch a defense. Doesn't necessarily protect the rim any better than Mitch would. The only thing I can see him contributing would be a little more athleticism guarding pick and rolls. Unless he decides to take advantage of the free year and stay for 2, I just feel there are better pieces to use that scholly on.

I’m in the same boat. I don’t get it. I don’t think he’s that good of an addition.

Bishop and Wilson would be interchangeable at the 4 and he could also play alongside Wilson in a pseudo small ball lineup. IMO we need Bishop more than TyTy.

A 4 who doesn't shoot. Like at all. Nah man. That ain't it.

Right now, Kansas does not need a Jamari Traylor. That's exactly what Bishop is.

Yeah, I'm not sold on Bishop either. Not sure which thread I posted on before but Bishop doesn't shoot 3s and he's a bad free throw shooter. Sure, he's athletic but what does he really add? Good rebounder, ok, but so is Wilson, and Wilson is a better scorer/shooter. in fact, Wilson is our best rebounder already. Let's say for the sake of argument that Agbaji comes back and we have 1 open scholarship due to Jossell's transfer. Would you rather have Bishop or Washington? I'd rather have Washington.
