not possible. they said we got the bad guy. has to be true. the manual doesn't call for outrage at this incident.

I am relishing in all of you self righteous libs who were in never ending meltdowns for 4 years suddenly not giving a fuck about anything Biden does wrong or lies about.

Anything and everything qualified as a "lie" for 4 years....now suddenly nothing qualifies as a lie. Shocking.

I think so. Haven't tried that one before, figured I'd give it a go.

Maybe it can't be a lie if you're incoherent most of the time?

22K civilians have been killed in Afghanistan since 9/11

where has this outrage been, illy? why now?

they’re all tragic, and in a perfect world would never happen. war is messy, particularly one like Afghanistan (just ask the Brits and Russians)

keep running around with your hair on fire...it’s a good way to engage in reasonable, fruitful conversation

i haven’t read the news, so feel free to link to whichever stories show that Biden lied

i’m basing my response on illy’s earlier (false) declaration that Biden lied from the get-go

and i’m in no way giving Biden a pass. i said on page one of this thread that he fucked up and this whole mess is a clusterfuck

thats exactly what happened here for 4 years. it was justified.....but where is it now. The hypocrisy is strong. thats his point I think

that says the Pentagon, not Biden

Days after the attack, President Joe Biden gave a speech in which he marked the withdrawal of American troops in Afghanistan by the August 31 deadline. He touted America's ability to strike terrorists and targets without boots on the ground. But he failed to mention the high civilian casualty rate from the August 29 drone strike, and he failed to mention that children had been killed.

'We struck ISIS-K remotely, days after they murdered 13 of our service members and dozen of innocent Afghans. And to ISIS-K, we are not done with you yet,' he said in his speech.

definitely not forthcoming with all of the information...but that’s not the same as lying

i said this in the covid thread, but some of you need to look more broadly at he trump presidency and keep historical context in perspective

trump did, and continues to do, things that are so far outside if the norm for ANY president that it just seems silly to try and compare he and Biden. look no further than this past weekend for the evidence

i’d like to give at least some benefit of the doubt to proclamations that dems/progressives/liberals went too far in their condemnations, but when so many of his own party were also condemning on that same level it’s honestly difficult to say that “we” went too far

i ridiculed trump more so than any president, even dubya...but that’s because he was so much worse than any other president, imo...and i was no fan of dubya

that you somehow expect trump to be treated the same way dubya or his pops were is odd, and seems to be more indicative of a lack of perspective than and supposed mental gymnastics related to Biden
