Should be a really good one. Bills kind of melted down in the AFC Championship game last year. Lots of penalties and guys losing their cool.

Hurtz was 32 of 48 for 387 yards. Their mistakes (motion penalties mostly) doomed them more than our defense. Thankfully, Mahomes was able to go on a long drive late in the 4th and eat up a bunch of clock before scoring a TD.

We all made excuses for the defense early on. Well, it was the Browns or it was the Ravens but yesterday was awful. Yesterday wasn't so much the Chiefs defense played at least average the Eagles some how were even worse. That was probably worse than even 2018 and this roster has two guys who are top 5 in their respective position group. It is un-excusable for a veteran group with as much familiarity with the coaching staff to be this bad and what bothers me even more is looking so unprepared week after week. Something needs to be changed and changed in a drastic way or this season is going to spiral completely out of control. You can't expect that the Browns, Ravens and now the Bills coming to town will make the same mistakes or miss wide open guys like the Eagles and Hurts did. At this point you are essentially saying that Mahomes and the offense has to be perfect. That isn't a great strategy to lean on.

I don't know if Spags message has gone stale or guys just aren't mentally locked in but they have to realize that they will end up being the SOLE reason why this team will not being hoisting up another Lombardi at SoFi.

While in theory that is a great idea. The reality is as good as even the Chiefs offense is that is no way a sustainable plan for the rest of the season. Not every team the Chiefs play will have a defense as bad as the Eagles and at some point the defense will have to step up and deliver.
