A. They got officiated out of a title vs UNC in one of the worst ref'd games i've seen in the tournament.
B. Wins are wins and they have the most of them in 10 years in the tournament so it's not like they haven't had success. They've been to the Final Four twice in the last 10 years which is equal to the number of times KU has made it.
C. Their average Kenpom score over the last 10 years is 28.21 compared to KU's 24.91.

Don't care about any of this! They get treated like college basketball royalty, without having ever really backed it up.

19/20 Beat Oregon, Washington, and Arizona before the tournament
18/19 Beat #1 Duke before the tournament

I do not think Gonzaga gets treated like college basketball royalty.
Duke UK KU and UNC are THE college basketball royalty. Those 4 get treated and covered noticeably different than other programs.

Neat! Us and UK and a few other schools have comparable non-cons every year...and then play real schedules for three months.

18 torched v Nova.
22 David McCormack smashed Nova back.
Rd2: 14, 15, 19, 21
S16: 13
E8: 16, 17
2020 won the National Championship without the tourney so no Final Four.

DeeJuan Pruitt (Played at Butler CC in KS) is not the sharpest knife in the drawer - despite being named to the "OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll for his work in the classroom".

Pre three-point line too. Kind of a ruined stat line. PPG over a career maybe the one to look at. The career wins mark is another "interesting" only stat.

FWIW (A rotten Granny Smith apple slice and a slightly damp 3"x5" lined index card?) Travis Grant had 4,045 career points.
