1. self has hinted that hunter is staying, furphy is leaving, 2. and potentially one other departure. Says he thinks we know enough to proceed but information isn't public. But is looking to add 3 or 4 from the portal.

Also said, 3. nobody should bet against year 2 Elmarko....for whatever that's worth.
1. Ugh. Worst of all possible worlds
2. Jamari, probably
3. I dunno. But then, I remember what RussRob was like as a freshman.
1. agree wholeheartedly
1. yup

There are several posters on this bored that are not 'getting' against Elmarko, me included.
I think a 4th year Elmarko becomes as good or better than Elijah which is just fine as a 3rd option kinda dude.

Gotta be quite a test of patience, to maintain a public line that more-or-less massages a kid’s ego (to keep him here), while also getting as close to the breaking point as possible privately (to keep getting him better, to a place where he can perform to his ability).

Yep. Only your “kids” are closer to (if not in possession of) full awareness of how little power you actually have.

He might be better sooner than we expect. The starting 2 and 3 are both up for grabs. Elmarko is in the conversation.

But personally I'm thinking he'd be perfect for a 6th man role as the back up combo guard, then take over for dajuan the following year

Self boosting up Clemence gives me some hope.

Sounds like Jamari is the only possible transfer?

just let him make his decision

jeeze
He's made his decision. For now. He's "testing the water/s". Not fully declaring for the draft. Yet.
the poster i quoted harassed me for posting an update on a kid we’re recruiting

i was just returning the favor
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

We need a wing that can shoot and rebound.

So... Furphy. But with the ability to close out on three point shooters.

Maybe this guy if Furphy jumps and we don't get McNeeley. Of course 2 is better than 1 if we're lucky.

it's possible that guy is better than McNeeley, Freshmen are tough to predict.

Doesn't have the "and rebounds" part.

KJ and Griffen both average about 5 rebounds per 40. That's not particularly good. Furphy was over 8, McCullar 7.

FWIW, Kugel and Mayo were at 6 and 6.3 last year.

Apparently mark Mitchell from Duke is in the portal now too. From the kansas city area, played at sunrise in wichita

KU had initially recruited him out of high school

Supposedly k state is going after him hard

I hope they get him

I also hope KState is in search of a troll-cunt to trash up their message boards.

You ever think of hitting the transfer portal?
