Time to be realistic and do what's best for the team....which is build around simmons and embiid (or at least pretend to).
LOL! "Trust the process"!
5 seasons of Ben Simmons later, how's that working out for the 6ers?

Simmons can be waived. But they aren't building with bricks any more.

Joel and his Sixers were a Ben Simmons short of a victory last night.
They better figure out something or they are just another team in the East that's not going to win the conference.

You can see this 3 games into a 70+ game season?

Gutter, maybe you should come to terms that you are a bitter, negative old man.
You constantly come on here talking shit on nearly every person that comes up in conversation, pointing out everything negative about KU or Chiefs on a KU fucking message board.
The only times you aren't shitting on the Jayhawks/Chiefs, you either talk about every tragedy/incident in Chicago that you witnessed/just missed/happened to someone close to you....or you are updating us all on you degrees of seperation to someone famous.
You seriously need a spiritual awakening. You need to find a cure to your patterns of self loathing to arrogance to chest thumping.

If I'm the Nets, I'm pushing hard for a Simmons/Kyrie straight-up trade...though, I know it would probably piss KD off.
If I'm the Sixers, there is no way I'm doing that trade.

Kind of crazy that it was 282 games for both Joel and AI to reach 7000. Iverson averaged 24.8 and Joel 24.9. One guy was a generous 6 feet tall when he played and the other guy is a 7 footer.

I am surprised that Joel scored enough to reach it in the exact same time as AI.
Two of my favorite NBA players of all time.

5th straight 31 point game, an NBA record
8 straight games with at least 30, tying AI and Wilt for a 6ers record.

Nobody has ever scored 31+ in 5 games in a row?

Yes, there has been. Harden had I think 20+ 31 or more point games one season.
He had 32 consecutive 30 point games that season.
NO ONE had ever scored EXACTLY 31 points in a game 5 consecutive games. Until Joel did it.

Thought provoking: what would embiid and the 76ers look like these days if Jimmy butler had resigned and they ditched ben Simmons and/or Tobias harris?

They'd look significantly better. Jimmy and Joel were a great fit.

Joel just missed making it 6 consecutive games scoring 31 points. He scored 32 last night.
As far as how the 76ers would look with Butler today, we will never know.
Someone should remind the 76ers how many years they are in to "the process" and how many times they won more than 1 playoff series in a season (zero?). Seems "the process" is not really working to plan.
