Youre right. I'm wrong. Better?TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:35 amsorry, but you’re wrong, in a sense, about it being everywhere. it may physically be everywhere, but not everyone has access to it...i don’t know how many times i’ve hit to say it or post links to sources that support the notionTDub wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:31 amWe arent in nigeria or india.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:23 am i really don’t understand the push back on the door-to-door campaign
this is literally how it’s done in most of the developing world, where there generally isn’t the infrastructure to facilitate peoples’ traveling to medical centers
it’s literally happening right now in Afghanistan, India, Nigeria and Pakistan to vaccinate against polio
The vaccine is everywhere. Itd literally being shoved down our throats on every platform in every way possible. Going door to door is going to do nothing but give those who dont want it more reason to resist it. Id i make a choice to not do something and then they send people door to door to "convince me" im gonna tell them to fuck off. When the mormons come by i tell them Ill listen if they come in and have beers with me while we talk. No one has ever continued their spiel.
and just because you wouldn’t be convinced doesn’t mean that others would respond similarly

That there are valid reasons to be skeptical about the government facilitating door to door visits to push something. I know the Biden administration is infallible but the government history on pushing items isnt gold studded.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:39 amwhat view am i not understanding?TDub wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:36 amOftentimes it is those that preach tolerance that are the least understanding of others views.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:35 am

Considering that they are still trying to eradicate polio, a disease that hasn't occurred in the US since 1979, I think we can safely say that we are already doing vaccinations better than they are.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:24 am and it’s a sad commentary that we can’t willingly do better than those countries given our resources...especially given that we’re the greatest, bestest country in the history of everything (right, mich?)
now you’re just being sillyTDub wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:41 amThat there are valid reasons to be skeptical about the government facilitating door to door visits to push something. I know the Biden administration is infallible but the government history on pushing items isnt gold studded.
If trump wouldve sent people door to door to oush anything this place wouldve come unglued about our orange fascist leader.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:46 amnow you’re just being silly
again, it isn’t just about those who’ve made the choice not to get vaccinatedTDub wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:48 amIf trump wouldve sent people door to door to oush anything this place wouldve come unglued about our orange fascist leader.
People dont want their personal space invaded to be pushed to do something they have made a personal choice about. Its bullshit. It would be bullshit if trump did it, its bullshit no matter who does it.
Then dont send them out. How do they even have the information on who has it and who hasnt? Bullshit. Its all bullshit. Get the government out of my yard. I made rhe choice to get the vaccine. My neighbors chose not to. Fine. It ends there.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:51 amagain, it isn’t just about those who’ve made the choice not to get vaccinatedTDub wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:48 amIf trump wouldve sent people door to door to oush anything this place wouldve come unglued about our orange fascist leader.

and it’s simple, if you don’t want them in your house and don’t want to hear what they have to say, then just shut the fucking door
Walrus wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:53 am Crazy how much worse things keep getting every month, right? Meanwhile, I'm looking more and more vindicated. So many horrible side effects (heart damage, bells palsy, clots, stroke, etc) that now they are putting warning labels on them. You know why these are not safe for a lot of people? It's the spike protein.
I'll tell you what is likely to happen this Fall. There will be an increase in delta (or United Airlines) variant over the cold months (just like viruses always do). The news will blame on it on the unvaxxed. Then this will further create the "vaxxed vs unvaxxed" divide. It's all about the divide. Last year, it was the lockdown and the masks. This year, it's the vaccine. They always need something to divide you -- that's all the news is good for.
Interestingly though, I looked at the actual trials of moderna and pfizer vaccines. The study groups showed that the vaccinated vs unvaxxed was only about 1% or less difference in infection rate or deaths. I can post the sources to prove it. Most Americans are completely unaware of this. Then again, most Americans also thought the "covid from a lab" was a conspiracy. It's always a "conspiracy" for a year, until it isn't.
