As long as any member of another group that you don't like has ever done anything negative, it completely absolves you of any blame if you, or a group you favor, also has done said thing. Some other ways to get out of blame. Let's say you go get caught red-handed stealing a vehicle. If that vehicle is a Volkswagen, and the person who caught you accuses you of stealing a car, you can just say. I didn't steal a car, I stole a Volkswagen...now that car is yours.

Think about it.
