Biden’s lead increases in NV after the latest update.

Trumps lead in GA down to 14,000

I don't think we are going to see a call on Nevada for quite some time. AP and Fox giving AZ to Biden means that NV going Biden would get him to 270.

They have to be waffling on AZ right now internally and I don't think either wants to declare Biden the winner based on NV/AZ.

The market will rejoice at a competent, stable executive branch, with a real plan to get through the pandemic.

Particularly if that executive branch is checked by a GOP Senate, I'd expect.

Nevada allows mail in votes postmarked by election day to be counted so they won't be at 100% until they believe that all of those are in. It could be days before they are done.

Well, of course. But, they probably should have done so by now so it seems they are quite worried about that potential fallout.

However, they are usually quite good with their projections and they have to feel good that AP's nerds view the data the same way their nerds do.

Don't get me wrong, I hope that they are right. As the polling debacle has shown, some models are more accurate than others.

Just recapping - so Biden’s worst case at 255 electoral votes, with some media calling AZ and giving him 264. So he needs Arizona to confirm, and also NV, to get to that 270. OR, he could loose both of those but still get there just by winning PA. Anything more is just gravy.

Trump is at 214, so he needs at least 56 votes from some generous combo of AZ NV NC GA and PA?

Less than 24,000 votes to be counted in Georgia. Biden isn't going to make it. Arizona will eventually go to Trump. Nevada remains to be seen.

Some people choose to only get emotionally high on the highs and never get emotionally low on the lows. Of course there are those who do the opposite but my guess is there are a lot less of them.

Well, ironically, the not so funny thing is there was a short period where gas (oil) was basically worthless with Trump as our President. I'm wondering how those who were "long" oil felt about that. Actually, I think I have a pretty good idea. Similar but not exactly how those who were "short" oil felt about it with Bush in June/July of 2008.

While the trends shouldn't really align this way, one scenario that fascinates me is where Biden narrowly wins Georgia AND PA/AZ/NV, but Perdue finishes five votes above 50%.

Does the DNC ask for a recount, to try to get Perdue below 50%?

Gas is $1.84 per gallon where I live. Life don’t get much better than cheap gas and a roaring stock market.

Gas is cheap because there is no demand because we're in the middle of a pandemic the mismanagement of which has wrecked the on-the-ground economy and cost hundreds of thousands of American lives.
