On Wordly the other day I had one of those streaks of stupidity where I needed only the beginning letter on line three. Instead of blasting out a guess to extinguish options I whiffed four times. Tired. Wired. Mired. Sired. It was aired. Thought I had used the a without really thinking. Grrr.

I hate it when you have to guess one letter and there are a bunch of words that will fit. I've bombed a couple of those.
