If Harris was half the point guard we’re used to having, that would be a money situation. Sherron, Tyshawn, Frank, Devonte, Dotson are all 90% winning that game driving to the basket. Harris can’t get a shot up and has no hope of scoring if he does.

Banked 3 saved the game for Texas. Had some big performances/plays from players we absolutely need in March (Dave and Jalen). Harris is what he is and will be our undoing eventually, hopefully not until the F4.
Harris was really good until that last play. Was terrific on Carr and made big shots
Ya. DH played fine. Bad turnover late. Haven't looked, but wouldn't be shocked if he was fouled.
He was not.

i really want to be there with you, hasbeen, but our performances are so hot/cold i just am not all that optimistic we can make any sort of run. i'll still foolishly fill out the bracket with kansas going to new orleans.
Dude. KU was shooting 70 percent and had to be beaten to a pulp on one day of rest on the road to lose?

He had a few awful passes to no one in particular that have to stop.

He's a fine rotational piece. The opposing defense doesn't even bother to cover him and he still ends up with 8 points. Like I said, he is what he is -- I can be convinced he is a rotational player on a national title team. I can't be convinced he should have the ball at the end of the game like that. Get the ball into your best player's hands (Och or Braun), even if the play is designed for Dave. That way, when it's shut off, we don't have to witness what we did tonight.

My question is should ot not have been OOB to KU there off the side?

They are a Sweet Sixteen team. Maybe EE with a good draw or a regional bracket upset.

Texas was 3-20 from 3. 1 a buzzer beater and another a bank shot.

Not a big fan of ever doing big Mondays. Road or not. Late, tired kids during the academic year.

It should not be. First, the ball can hit the side of the backboard, it just can't go over. Second, the UT player did not touch the ball when Harris lost it.

Perfect analogy. Juan, would be great in a 15 minute total range but the 30 minutes he gets exposed.
Why in the world did Self take out Yes when he was playing his best game of the year. Yes, is an elite athlete who at least defenses have to respect.

Sounds right since Self didn't ask for a review

Self has missed some opportunities this year with in game coaching. Several noticeably bad decisions.

And hitting shots. I would have switched him in the last several minutes

Again, they were fatigued and did shoot FTs reasonably well. But it is a road environment with students gyrating screaming and pretending to love basketball in Austin

If you cant get Ochai the ball, you gotta have a different plan than Harris driving to nowhere.
He shoulda either looked to Braun or Jalen on the wing or tried a pass from the top of the key to the post.
