Boston/Atlanta game with a great ending
Hawks avoid elimination and force game 6
Trey Young has all these random patches of white hairs in his goatee. Dude is 24 years old. At least he still has a full head of hair tho. And by hair I mean, pube transplants.
And somehow also looks like a baby. The face if a grown baby. And kind of the voice too

Shot 3-19 in game 1 and still shot 41% FG 35.7% 3pt for the series.
Chris Paul shot 41.4% FG 34.8% 3pt for the series.

Heat advance! 8 over a 1!
I didn't really have a dog in that fight tho, except, 1. I find Jimmy Butler easy to cheer for cuz he's awesome, and 2. the Bucks season ended on some ridiculous Grayson Allen trying to play hero ball with some eurostep bullshit without even getting a shot up before time expired.

Have Russ and CP switch teams and the series outcome would have been the same.

I don't get it. Are you implying neither guy can make a shot?
Ben Simmons has a career FG% of 56.1
Russ Westbrook has a career FG% of 46.9
Against other NBA players.

I've watched the replay multiple times. First off, I don't understand why the Heat weren't moving on offense and Vincent chucked up a 3 with 6 seconds left on the shot clock.
I'm fine with Giannis not passing to Middleton right away and keeping the ball in his hands but with 5 seconds left Giannis was sitting his ass on the court not rushing to get back up. The Heat defense was daring the Bucks to give the ball to Allen. They left him wide open - and then collapsed on him. I couldn't be happier he was the guy who didn't finish.

I haven't looked but my guess is Heat/Knicks RESELL 100 level tickets are astronomically expensive in both New York and Miami.
Looking like we are going to get
Miami/NY and Boston/Philly
Denver/Phoenix and Lakers/Golden State
Very hard for me to predict any of those series. I guess I would be most confident Phoenix beats Denver. Which means Denver will probably win the series.

Every time I watch playoff Jimmy butler I get a little furious with the 76ers front office. The things Jimmy and embiid could've accomplied...

We will never know what they woulda/coulda.
What we do know is they couldn't/didn't win the conference semis together.
In 2019 before the playoffs started, if someone said the 76ers could have Harden or Butler on the team for the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons, who would you have chosen? Remember, in 2019 Harden finished 2nd in MVP voting. Butler wasn't top 10.

I'm not a Knicks fan by any means or a Josh Hart fan, but in the day-and-age of load management and soft players not playing in back-to-backs, this is pretty cool...Hart definitely loves to compete and loves to play the game.

Harden wasn't even in the picture then. They chose to give Tobias harris and ben Simmons big contracts instead of Jimmy. Harden came in when they traded Simmons for him
Butler and embiid had Simmons in their way. They could have kept butler and not paid harris the 30 million plus contract, and still made that harden/Simmons trade

All valid points/thoughts.
Hindsight is 20/20.

Harden lead the league in assists. I like aging harden as a distributor. Him embiid and butler would be quite the core

That’s pretty cool.
Yea, in the age of load management, but also the age of state-of-the-art sports conditioning, I kinda think elite athletes playing limited minutes is kinda lame.

Remember the age of elite athletes smoking cigs and chugging orange soda on the sidelines?
Or the age of elite athletes showing up hungover, or just playing drunk?
nm, I guess Ron Artest really wasn’t that long ago…
