Mavs beat the Thunder by 3 in game 7.

Nuggets beat the Mavs in 6 (4-2) in the Western Finals.

Two Game 7s and the final round of a golf major on Sunday? That works.

Yeah, except I am expecting the NBA teams I want to win (Wolves and Knicks) - to lose and I am expecting someone I don't want to win the PGA Championship to win.

On a semi related side note, I am going to the Cubs game today. Looking forward to seeing Imanaga pitch. He'll probably get rocked. :P

He did. Top of the 8th.
Imanaga pitched a gem.
Napoli and Wisdom did their best to try and help the Cubs lose.
Conroy (I think he was the Home Plate Ump) maybe gave/gifted the Cubs the W. I don't know the rule but it sure seemed Bart tagged out Bellinger - and then lost the ball.

Dude behind me was a nice guy but at what point should he have realized I didn't want him talking to me about every pitch, hit, out, MLB Ball Park, etc., etc.,. etc.?
Correct answer is...... When I finally couldn't take it anymore and got up and left in the top of the 8th.
I do feel good I helped get his kid a baseball. That and the hot dog I ate were the highlights of the game for me.

Back to Basketball.......

I think the Knicks win and the refs call the Denver game close, they shoot more FTs and win by a few.

I agree with both picks.

I'm essentially neutral in Dallas vs OKC, but I'm rooting for Dallas because Doncic is so entertaining to watch.*

But I hope OKC wins tonight so there will be a 7th game Monday.

*And because, Mark Cuban is such an unflappable gentleman despite all the abuse he gets on twitter when he discuses issues and calls Musk out.

Another great game. These playoffs have been really good considering some of the biggest names aren't even in it anymore (LeBron, KD, Steph, etc).

Such much better in so many ways if the Knicks win. The most important one, $.
I'm not implying the game will be fixed. I am implying I believe 99% of those affiliated with, and who make money off the NBA, and are not directly affiliated with the Pacers, are probably rooting for the Knicks.

I'm expecting the Nuggets to win. Which when I think about it, my guess is I have never expected a team to win a game when I have seen them lose by 26 AND 45 points to the team I am expecting them to beat.
Then again, I have witnessed a 53 point turnaround (Wolves won by 26 and the next game the Nuggets won by 27) in back to back games in the series.

Anyone else notice that soon after the game ended, instead of celebrating with his teammates, Kieff Morris went up to Holmgren and said something to him? You can tell it was something respectful. I'm not a big fan of Kieff but I have to give credit when I feel credit is due. Good on Kieff!
