He could play for Deion in Dallas.
All those kids that transferred to or signed with Colorado while being foolish enough to think he would stay there for a minute longer than his son and Travis Hunter.
You're smarter than I am. Please help me out.
I'm wondering if there is anything foolish about it. They got/get paid to come to CU and they are free to leave. Or am I wrong about that? Do they have to stay for a season? Even if he leaves?

If Tomlin stays in Pittsburgh Omar Kahn might as well sign Damn Sarnold.
2025 QB class:
Free Agents:
Sam Darnold
Russell Wilson
Justin Fields
Trade Target:
Geno Smith could be available
Guys that may be cut, effectively making them free agents:
Kirk Cousins
Aaron Rodgers
Derek Carr

Not a lot of quality options out there if you aren't getting one of the two QBs in the draft who appear to be ready to play soonish.

Apparently I am wrong.
Darnold is rumored to be in the range of a Geno/Mayfield contract.
So 3 for like 80ish.

14 wins is not bad. Cousins never did it.

That's really good.
You know what's even better? Read some of the responses. Illini fans really pissed off about the Terrance Shannon fiasco.
I'm wondering if the social media person/s at LPD will come up with a clever response. Right now, I think they are doing the right/smart thing by not responding.

Being the best available drives his cost up. He won't live up to that amount outside of Minnesota. I really do think O'Connell is an elite QB coach and they should try to get him to resign. I get they drafted the Michigan kid #10 but that is no guarantee that he is good at all. But maybe they save the cash, play the cheaper QB and spend that money on some other positions. They will be spending a lot on free agents this year since they only have a 1st round pick and 2 5th round picks in the upcoming draft thanks to some recent trades.

Kansas stole Bill Self and Cliff Alexander out from under them so it's no wonder they hate all things KU.

His last two games built experience. And they were road games. Stay with a good thing and hope Detroit reverts to form.

He had a good season - Pro Bowl caliber in fact.
I'd just be wary to hitch yourself to him especially since you spent a high pick on a QB in the draft.

Detroit will in theory be better next year as many of their injured defensive players return.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the “logical step” is for the league to move to an 18-game regular season.
No.
The logical step is to bring the regular season back to 16 games and bring the playoffs back down to a 12 team playoff.

Yeah, I liked the two byes and two wildcard games per conference better than this set up but I guess more football is good football when you're NFL owners getting paid by the number of games on TV.

I really liked the 2 byes.
And 6 keeps more importance on the regular season.
Go back to a 12 team playoff, a team with a .500 or less record ( even if they win their division ) plays on the road vs a team with a winning record, and reseed every round.

Agreed. Winning more games is more important than winning your division when your division is shitty. This whole "it lessens a division title" argument doesn't hold water. That's not the goal. Seed them by record, regardless division winner vs wildcard team, and then reseed after every round.

Interesting tidbit. If Buffalo loses this weekend, they would become the first team in NFL history to be a top-two seed in three straight seasons and miss the conference championship game in all three of those seasons.

I am pulling for Buffalo because I think Baltimore is the better team.
