If you're unable to distinguish the differences between the two major parties on those issues, congratulations. You're right where the party that's determined to give people like me who don't need them even more tax breaks, i.e Republicans, want you.
I AM able to distinguish the differences.

One party looks you in the eye and tells you who they are, and the other feigns outrage even tho they never seem to do a thing to counter or reform.

Sorry, no bait on this hook....
But wait! Don't you know that:

There's no difference between the two parties

and

Both sides do it.

^^^^^

(Considering the difference is mostly just performative)

You seem to think that either side has a magic wand it can wave to get whatever it wants.

Unfortunately only one side has that magic wand.

And it is the side that will be in total control on Monday.

Cheers!

I did pretty well during Obama.

I jumped out of everything ( including possibly developing in the Empire) when I saw Trump finger fucking Covid.

Jumped back in during Biden, and have had a great couple of years.

After I dump shit on all of these rabid Trumping idiots who on a sugar high, I am back out again until this country stops electing complete idiots.

IMO, this country has actually done a fairly good job with electing the right person for the time.

Trump is, to the, the exception. And I blame Bannon and Limbaugh for Trumps ascension

well of course one side gets whatever it wants, when the other side does little more than the aforesaid performative gestures to prevent them.

it's difficult to hear you lecture me about naiveté, particularly in the context of whether or not politicians feed us performative gestures.

I dunno what the exact details of your situation were and are. But in hindsight, I wish I DID purchase real estate in a pre-Covid market.

If an S&P 500 that gained 26% in 2023 and 23.31% in 2024 is "failing", more "failing", please.

Think about it Randy... Imagine for a moment that you're like japhy, and you have millions of dollars invested in the stock market. If only one of those millions is invested in an S&P 500 index fund, you made $260,000 in 2023 under Biden, and (assuming you don't reinvest the $260K you made in 2023), in 2024, you made $231,000. That's almost half a million dollars your $1,000,000 made in only the last two years under President Biden.

Talk about Biden "failing" seems kind of silly, when you look at it that way, doesn't it? Why the bull shit? Can Trump not be "Trump" without his cult members making up lies to give their cult leader a figurative reach around? Aren't you better than that?

And, because japhy's made soooo much $ under the Biden Administration, it was incumbent upon you and the rest of the cult to elect Trump so japhy won't have to pay much, if anything, on the proceeds.

So some dumb fuck on a message board could accuse you of profiteering?

Ha. No, not quite.

So I could pay my own goddamn mortgage, rather than pay some profiteering landlord’s mortgage instead.

If hunter is averaging 20 and 10 based on his own ability, bravo, good for him.

But, if he's averaging 20 and 10 because the rules (tax laws) are rigged and referees (Federalist Society hand-picked judges) are philosophically opposed to Hunter's competitors, which is what we have, then we got a problem. A big problem, that you keep making worse by electing greedy, rich billionaires and their greedy, billionaire friends to office, to write our laws.

Get a clue, quit voting against your self-interests, and stop it, dammit.

Rich billionaires support both sides, time for YOU to get a clue. Money is power in this world, and you aren't winning an election without financial backing. You don't think the biden administration was influenced by billionaires?

Have you heard of George soros? Bill gates? Klaus Schwab? The entire world economic forum? It's literally a 450000 a month membership for a club for greedy rich evil billionaires who want to control the world. And they backed and elected Biden last time around, and their agenda was on full display throughout the last 4 years. And it's exactly what the American people rejected when the elected Trump

Sorry for your loss.
