Those would be my next 4 as well

Are you bringing them back today? or they never died?

Because that makes a huge difference for someone like Lennon. I mean, if he never died, you get a Beatles reunion, and like 40 years of more music. You bring him back today, and it has less impact.

Hendrix #1 for me, guy had so much left in the tank, was so talented and so young. Especially if it's the scenario where they never died.

In his autobiography Miles Davis said he was planning a collab with Jimi...

With Jimi's personality, you have to think he would have collaborated with so many people/bands. He just seemed like the kind of guy that would see the beauty in all kinds of music.

I would bring Coltrane, Bird and Cannonball back. Winehouse missing there seems wrong given some geezers on it.

I don’t dislike Janis, but I also can’t tell you much about her, even having tried to get into her a little bit.

She’s got that “little piece of my heart” and that Kristofferson cover...what else?

i’m a fan of both, but Winehouse is hands down the better vocalist

Joplin MIGHT be the better entertainer, but i have no idea

i’ve also got no clue about Joplin as a song writer. did she write her own stuff?

Winehouse wrote or co-wrote nearly all of her stuff

Joplin did right some songs, but almost all of her hits were covers.

Hence, overrated.

Joplin wasnt a good vocalist. That's part of what was so good about her. Sounded like a chainsmoker chewing gravel but she had soul
