Harris and Och took the same number of shots.

An idea is to confuse them by subbing for Och. Maybe going big there. Worst case scenario is allowing them to drape over Och and hold him the entire second half

Self going to have to do a lot for Ochai to get him the ball. Book might be out. Just put a guard on him and face guard him all game.

Oh lord, this one doesn't even register.

Now, we could go back through KU history and find plenty, though.

On the bright side, I thought we did a much better job of not getting punched in the mouth and rolling over like against Kentucky. We'll always roll out those smaller lineups so we'll have to be able to take the physicality. Just have to close down the stretch. This is where I thought Remy would be huge but at this point, that ain't happening.

Dust off anything we ran with McLemore and Wiggins.

Here is where another scorer is needed. Yes might have to step up. JCL.

This is my main takeaway.

Showed toughness I didn't think we had.

But, we were a little worn out at the end.

Both teams play Saturday and same turnaround time as tournament. I like big Mondays.

I like them, too. There are rules in place with travel, though. Only difference from tournament would be they stay in a hotel like 500 feet from the stadium.

Road mondays are the worst. A pummeling road Monday exhausted the kids

I don't know how they can even get tired when there's a TV timeout every 4 minutes.

I would say sleeper holds and take downs add cardio exertion

Self just took the blame.
Said Harris has made plenty of those shots.

Self was right that they were going to overplay Ochai.

I'm ok with the play being for Dave.
He had some good finishes tonight and it was a one point game.

He has made a few. 1 to win a game.

But my god. We've got Och CB and JW...and our last play was drawn up for Dave with a DH drive as the 2nd option. That's bad.

Dave is good. No complaints. He played well....but he has a 20% chance of fumbling the ball. You put the ball in your star or stars hand. I want Och or CB shooting to win games. Not Dave or DH.

Dave was our 2nd leading scorer tonight.
He was doing well in the interior.
I'm fine with him getting the ball when hes having a good game.
