Wouldn't a genius have had his fridge stocked before the game?
only if a certain other genius started out on the couch with the hoodie.

But down their second best player, we can do it.
i dunno, i think we can win comfortably. if we get ahead to start, they'll lose their composure and it'll be a whooping. if we are lethargic like today, it'll be a dogfight.

also, we have to make some free throws. heaven knows they'll make all theirs.

I'll take the heat for the hoodie, that's saved us in back to back games. I should've known better.

But how could I have possibly known the couch....the corner of a sectional no less...would make the difference?

The start is critical.

We NEED to play looose. And this is a team you don't want to have to play from behind late.

17-20 vs tOSU
11-12 vs Delaware

Let's hope they are due for an "off" game.

KJ going into Self halftime was the turning point. Cool of Reggie Miller to let him know that it was a big play.

KJ then basically did the same thing again when he came in in garbage time. Gotta love the effort.

To put a bow on it, Kansas' 26 point win was the largest margin of victory in an Elite Eight game since Indiana beat UCLA 106-79 in 1992. I guess Bill had heard enough about his Elite Eight record.

Good article about Self at halftime. Was β€œpositively pissed,” but was very calm at half. Took the players by surprise.
