I'm mostly concerned that you didn't travel too far on the first day of driving. Isn't the Central Time Zone about 4 hours from Lexington...maybe 6 at most?
We left Lexington about 5pm EDT. Drove mostly North on I-75 and then West on I-74. We stopped about 11 CDT in Danville, IL. I did not see Illy. 10 hours of driving today and we're home. No chairs, beds or anything.
Come on man. Be like Spicoli....

Dropped off my girls at Arrowhead for the Taylor Swift concert. Enjoying some Burnt Ends Nachos and a Boulevard at The Granfalloon by our hotel. This worked out well.
Sounds like everyone is a winner in the twocoach clan this evening.
Moving on but staying on topic.....
I get supply and demand and that it's not really the entertainer's fault but I have to wonder if Taylor Swift gives a shit that some of her fans won't be going to college because their parents sent them to her concert/s. That being said, I have to figure some (a lot?) of her fans would choose going to see her live in concert over going to college.
GBA!
We got our tickets via normal means (just took 8 hours on the phone...) and not the secondary market and would never have paid what those tickets were going for on the secondary market. Our $120 tickets were going for as high as $1,500.
Like with any event, f you were patient, you could have gotten secondary market tickets day of the concert for pretty reasonable prices. There was a threat of storms (which didn't happen) so that may have driven them down some.
KC apparently got one of the best shows of the tour with lots of bonus stuff. My oldest is a huge fan who has followed the tour and had high expectations and they were exceeded. I am just glad it didn't pour on them and ruin the experience.

That's two good sentences to start a country music song.
I don't mean to make light of your situation. I know you've had a tough week and I sincerely feel terrible for you. If there is anything I can/could do for you please let me know. Other than blow you.

Thanks gutter, no blowing necessary. We're getting through it and I got to play with grandkids today.

While I wouldn't generally post this type of video, MjI's lament earlier in the "Politics" forum about all the negativity here, sounded like a cry for help. And despite the unlikelihood that I played any part in generating said negative vibe, I wanted to make sure he felt noticed, and hoped this might serve to cheer him up:
