Re: 2024
The founder fathers foresaw tyranny greed corruption and a lust for control and power seeping it's way into our political system. Thank God they put all the checks and balances in place that they did. The electoral college is one of them. I'm assuming most of you live here in the Midwest, you should he grateful for the electoral college. Last thing we need is the brainwashed millions packed into cities on the coasts deciding our fate

Meh all over this.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 3:20 pmVoting for an incompetent third party candidate will literally never get you a third party option. The notion that the mythical "they" will finally see that there is unhappiness over the current system by seeing a tiny fraction of the vote go down the drain is just so fundamentally flawed.
But hey, if you think Jill Stein is "what's right", go for it I suppose. Just be honest about what it accomplished when the votes are tallied.

I assume you are aware that just this year we have seen the obliteration of (1) the Constitution's checks on a President's powers (so long as the Court likes him), and (2) the Constitution's prohibition on an oathbreaker regaining the presidency (so long as the Court likes him).randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 11:37 am The founder fathers foresaw tyranny greed corruption and a lust for control and power seeping it's way into our political system. my favorite is that randi still has nothing to say about all the lies he’s posted in just the past few weeks…all the times he’s gotten musked
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Eh, have you not been listening to Donald Trump's rambling, incoherent statements? Have you not watched what Musk is doing for Trump on Twitter?randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 1:12 pmYou wouldn't know fascism if it slapped you in the face. You vote for politicians who want to silence dissent. That's the very definition of it

The democrats keep turning the Babylon bee (satire) into reality

This is what you do when it suddenly dawns on you that your DEI candidate is an imbecile and is going to be soundly beaten on Election Day, save more of the shenanigans pulled in 2020.randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 4:16 pm The democrats keep turning the Babylon bee (satire) into reality

Yeah it's not looking good for the corrupt establishment. That's what happens when you squander tax dollars on illegals and foreign wars while the cost of living just keeps getting worse and worse. The people have had enough and have realized the media is not on their side
