Sure - I just meant the quality of teams, not the entertainingness (?) of the games themselves. You just expect the Cotton Bowl and the Rose Bowl to be...better.
The CFP gutted the prestige of both of those bowls, particularly the Rose Bowl, which is the best bowl, imo.
Not sure we're really disagreeing, but what's really killed the Rose Bowl (which I agree wholeheartedly is the best bowl) is the CFP
and the fact that the Pac 12 rarely has even one great team anymore (and, if there was one, it would get sucked into the CFP).
Maybe they just have a marketing problem. Between USC, Oregon, Washington, surely they have a team or two every year that could get killed as badly as the Big 10 always does.
Since 1998, there have been 3 consensus national champions combined between Big 10 and Pac-12. USC in 2003 and 2004 and Ohio State in 2014.

Right. What the Pac 12 has against it, is also what makes it awesome: the 10pm ET showcase game.

Disagree.
So far, two out of three have been great games. Well, if you can deal with the Cotton Bowl refs - who have sucked.

Generally speaking, I agree. I attended the Rose Bowl in 2015 and I have to say the CFP actually improved the quality of THAT Rose Bowl game. Until Oregon went and blew the shit out of FSU.

OOOPS! Dumbass me forgot what tOSU did to the Ducks in the Championship game.
I suppose Oregon / tOSU would have been the better and more meaningful Rose Bowl matchup.

Tulane pulling a KU. No quit.

Been second and third guessing myself all day on the USC vs Tulane game. I picked USC and was feeling like Tulane was just going to play the underdog card well and that Lincoln Riley was going to choke. Tulane down 6 right now is making me curious if I should have changed my pick.

Well that’s not a good call but again, I disagree with the call in general.

Build a 5 billion dollar stadium (with a roof) and then have the possibility of the National Championship game being halted/postponed because of weather (lightning) because the dildo's who designed and approved the stadium decided to leave it open ended (on the sides).
Moronic!

Bet TCU. I was surprised how easily tOSU moved the ball. It will be a similar game.

Relieved they didn't have Roseanne Barr do the national anthem.

TCU +13.5 and Over 61.5.
Let’s ride

Based on the first series of downs by each team, color me skeptical that we're about to be entertained by a close, competitive game. I hope I'm wrong.

Dawgs defense didn't play well against OSU. Do not think TCU is going to do as well

Touchdown TCU, and we have ourselves a ball game.

i’m thinking that with these two offenses, turnovers are gonna be the difference makers
can’t give the opposition any more chances than necessary
