National Championship game tonight.
Houston weather today....

There is a likely risk of severe weather today. Wind, tornadoes and hail are possible. Look out for powerful tornadoes. Have a plan and be prepared.
Rain showers this morning. Strong thunderstorms developing early. High 73F. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Locally heavy rainfall possible.

NOT funny that I experienced really shitty weather for the NC game in Los Angeles last year.

Maybe God doesn't like College Football National Championship games?

ANYWAYS......

I like Michigan to win tonight.
I'm going to guess 85% of the people who tune in to the game tonight that aren't Washington fans don't know Washington's coach is named Kalen DeBoer.

If it's heavy rain and wind gusts, that favors Michigan, who'll rely on their running game more.

I want Washington to win.

NRG has a retractable roof. My guess is if the weather is iffy/bad it will be closed. Heck, it will probably be closed regardless.
I would definitely want UW to win if I didn't have friends and family members who are UM alum. That being said, a lot of other UM alum are a reason why I just might root for UW once the game starts.

Ah, good point.
So yes, makes no difference.

Michigan cheated and their coach is a smug asshole.
Penix is exciting to watch and the PAC12 has fallen apart.
I have a small wager on Washington so Go Huskies.

Also glad SEC didn't make it. Watched Penix for the first time against Texas and he is the real deal. Gonna make some $ at the next level.

it’ll be a sad commentary on the state of the college sports in UW wins in the terminal season of the Pac12
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Be a good send off for the Pac12 though. Just shows leadership matters in big time college sports. Glad we got Yormark when we got him or we might be facing the same thing in the Big 12.

I'm old and slow and could probably gain 8-10 yds a carry right now. they aren't even seeing a defender until 15 yards downfield.

Bad run defense, good vision and speed by the RB's.

Bad throw on 4th down. Not a very good adjustment by the receiver either.
