Justin Turner tests positive mid-game and is removed. Huh?

Was Manfred wasted or about to have a stroke?

Cash with what I feel was a dumb answer when asked why he yanked Snell.
Said he didn't want him to face Mookie, Seager, and what they probably thought could/would be Turner.
If I am not mistaken, those guys were a combined 0-6 with 6 strikeouts up to that point. How about you let the guy try to continue his PROVEN success instead of ASSUMING he would fail?
As far as Turner being on the field after they won, I personally wouldn't do this but if Manfred doesn't ban him for at least a part of next season - then why even bother having a "protocol"?

White Sux hired a guy with 76 year old balls.
I am a Tony fan but I have to figure his best days are far behind him.

This is a good day for baseball.
But, if Kim Ng was a dude, she would have been a GM, what, 20 frickin' years ago when jfish still had season tickets to eat Dodger dogs?

The good old McCourt divorce. Dodgerdivorce.com right?
Fish did you get any profit off of that? I remember the amount of pub you got for that.

Kim Ng. Good for her!
I have to question if some media sites purposely used the most masculine photo/s of her - or maybe I should say the least feminine.
Such as the L.A. times.
FWIW, she is married to a dude.
Her hiring reminds me of 2001.
Pretty sure I have shared this story but am going to share it again.
Went to a game in Miami with a buddy of mine to see Sosa and the Cubs play the Marlins.
Showed up maybe about a half hour before the game. Bought tickets at the box office for face value right over the Marlins dugout.
Old dude sitting next to us wearing a 1997 WS ring. We spoke to him and learned he "worked for" the Marlins. I assume he told us in what capacity but I have forgotten.
He told us all about the players, the "plan", etc., and that in a couple of years the team would be great and would win the WS (again). My buddy and I laughed. After all, the Marlins had lost 288 games the 3 previous seasons.
Well, 2003 - They won the World Series. Of course partially thanks to the Cubs collapse.
He was right.
Best of luck to Kim.

The Cleveland Indians are no longer the Indians. PLEASE don't temporarily change the name to Baseball Team.

They’re going to do exactly that until they go through the process of changing their name. Would like a throwback for them and go to Cleveland Spiders.

Never saw this post. I don't know if I ever profited; I got minimal advertising off the site itself, and maybe a few thousand bucks in freelance work, but I also spent a great deal of money traveling for it.
It certainly opened all sorts of doors that have been great, personally and professionally. And it's a hell of a story!
