He was successful, he didn’t need to read a teleprompter to function. and he could recognize and articulate the true problem and the solutions to it. Harris is none of those things.

Harris is behaving like a professional applying for an important job. She behaves like someone who will take that job more seriously than Trump has taken the last 4 years of his life. Trump is more disgusting now than when he left office. Starting to be held accountable for his illegal behavior has made him a dirtier fighter.

What you and your ilk see as disgusting, many of us see as standing up for Americans. We’re cheering him on because, instead of saying “It’s all in your head,” he’s saying “You deserve better, and I’m going to bat for you.” It’s not hard to understand.

Successful, I argue he wasn’t particularly.
A dozen failed businesses doesn’t make me think of him as a business success. The bulk of his “success” being a reality TV star.

Do you not notice that, while bragging that he doesn’t need a teleprompter…is literally reading that OFF of a teleprompter?

I will agree that Trump (more credit to Steve Bannon than Trump), did tap into the things that “ Joe Lunch Box” considered the biggest obstructions to them living the lives that their parents did. They found what JLB felt was holding him back (jobs going overseas, NAFTA, etc) and demonized the folks that
were easiest to demonize (Mexicans, politicians) for political talking points.

It was a powerful and well run campaign.
It certainly didn’t hurt that Hillary epitomized EVERYTHING that the Trump supporters felt was driving that train.

The question that I pose is, what did Trump actually DO to help those folks? What tangible (not emotional) calling card was left to say the Trump made his mark on making the US a better place for those folks that he made so many promises to?

Please don’t say securing the border, he didn’t.
