Alright, so as we sit right now, KU is:

Returners:
Hunter Dickinson
Dajuan Harris
KJ Adams
Jamari McDowell
Elmarko Jackson
Zach Clemence

Possible Returner:
Johnny Furphy (unlikely)

Freshmen:
Flory Bidunga
Rakeese Passmore
Labaron Philon

Transfers:
Riley Kugel
Zeke Mayo

So we are at 12 scholarships if Furphy returns and 11 if he does not. KU may use their last penalty scholarship this season or next so in theory, they could either be full (with Furphy) or still have 1-2 spots open. I would assume our continued interest in Bama's Rylan Griffen indicates that we are preparing to lose Furphy.

from the sounds of it Griffen is am almost done deal.

I think philon is a good prospect. I hope he's willing to come to KU wait his turn and develop

I can't imagine him cracking the rotation as a freshman. Even without any changes to the roster, there's a really good chance he's behind dajuan, elmarko, and zeke for minutes at the 1/2. We are still recruiting guys that could potentially play the 2

I'd understand if philon decommited. Hell he could go play/start somewhere else for a year or 2 and then transfer to a school like KU. That could be the new norm
