No, he didn't. Your attempt to paraphrase what he said definitely outs you, once again, as the target audience.
I hope that the mexican who gets to dig your grave takes the time to piss on it.
“A floating island of garbage” means what, then? That islands are masses of people floating on top of the water?!?
Stop and think for a change. Seriously.
That’s on par with me taking your statement to mean that only Mexicans dig graves because doing so is beneath White people. Silliness.
Take a deep breath and get ready for the Trump Train to roll in. It’s gonna be spectacular!
His reference is not hard to figure out. It remands me of Trumps "aid package" for PR residents. Basketball shoot them some paper towels. That should bring a halt to the suffering. Wasn't that also when the "stable genius" let us all know that PR was indeed, and island.
Yes, I would bet that more than 50% of graves in the US are dug by immigrant labor. I am sure that the line at the job fair for grave diggers was jam packed with good 'ol Patriots though.
Who do you think will bury you when the immigrants have all been shuttled off?

You’re interpreting it the way you want to interpret it because it serves your purposes.
And I wont care who digs my grave because I’ll be dead.
Of course, I am not hateful or vengeful toward people I have had no interaction with. I also don't consider myself a part of some "master race".
And I am none of those things, either.

I have been to Puerto Rico.
I drove along most of the entire coast over 5 days.
I would not have described it as covered in garbage.
Puerto Rico is a beautiful place. And Puerto Ricans, in my experience, are good people.
You’re the desperate ones. “Oh, my! The mean little effeminate man told a joke! Where is my handkerchief? Won’t someone please think of the children?!?”
Good grief, you're so overly dramatic. Pointing out that this probably wasn't a great move right before the election isn't "desperate". We're just having a conversation about what is happening. It has gotten no more attention here than the hundreds of other racist tropes the Trump campaign has surrounded itself with the last month or so.
It’s not racist. He didn’t say Puerto Ricans were garbage, he said the island was covered in garbage, which, aside from the resort areas, is a true statement.
And Hugh Jass and Bugs Bunny weren’t going to back Trump anyway.
It doesn't matter if you convince me that your paraphrased statement is right (it's not). It matters whether or not voters of Puerto Rican heritage felt that it was a dig at Puerto Rico and its inhabitants (it was). When you're trying to pick up every vote you can, this might have been a bad way to go about it. We'll see soon enough.

It might be nicer if Trump hadn't withheld relief money after one of their devastating hurricanes.
"The administration of former President Donald Trump obstructed an investigation looking into why officials withheld about $20 billion in hurricane relief for Puerto Rico following the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, one of the deadliest U.S. natural disasters in over 100 years, a new report says."
Snowflake Trump has always had a long memory for those he felt wronged him. This wasn't a random shot that Trump had no idea was coming.

Hinchcliffe was hilarious at the Brady roast. Super clever and in the spirit of the event.
I did not find his jokes (which they should be viewed as such IMO coming from a comedian) as funny in the context of a political rally, regardless of one’s opinion if they held racist intent.

This, I agree with.

I spent a week there doing IT work for a mayoral campaign. Well, I "worked" about 3 hours on Monday and spent the rest of the week schmoozing. Beautiful island and wonderful people.

Definitely not garbage.
Who was that asshole?
San Juan is an amazing place for history buffs like myself.
