News flash for Dolomite. Cheeto Mussolini has a butt hurt about being mocked on SNL and wants to investigate! I wonder if the Murdoch Pravda gave this as much time as mischaracterizing Ted Lieu.

"This budget is a milestone," Brown said. "When I took office way back in 2011, California was facing a real financial mess — a deficit of $27 billion."
Now with all that surplus why don't they pick up the feces in San Francisco or better yet maybe build some public toilets.
I assume they are awaiting the "draining of the swamp".
How is Cheddar Mussolini coming along with that project?
Well, a lot of his associates are now convicted felons.

Serious questions.
Does Donald Trump actually watch and pay attention to NBC & SNL?
Does he actually watch (and read) and pay attention to "fake news" - or does he have a bunch of pussies working for him that tell him how mean the media and "comedy" shows are in regards to him?
The guy takes the time to whine on Twitter about being defamed and belittled - when he is the king defaming and belittling others.
This is what the leader of our country is all about - and there are people who eat this shit up.
As far as California putting a tax on texting - GOOD!
Anyone remember a time when texting wasn't a "necessity"?
People will go ahead and bitch about it but then don't really give a damn about other things they get taxed for.
Bunch of dumb whiny mofos in this country. Myself included.

Hey Feral what does any of this have to do with the subject? Oh it doesnt? Just another thread for you to push your message for the good of the cause? Awesome. Every thread is the same. Doesnt matter the intent of the original content it turns into a battle of the trumps vs the anti trumps. Jesus. Clean up on aisle politics board.
Courts rejected the text tax today if anyone cares.

Good point. If only I'd used my posts to list the reasons I hate California/Californians, life would be good, and you'd feel affirmed.
And, the tax being rejected makes the point of my op, that the premise of this thread was an untrue exaggeration. But, that's ok, because
government bad!

I dont need to feel affirmed, I'm plenty confident in myseld without internet friends and solace. I dont give a shit if you agree with me. Others on here have disagreed with me and thats fine. I just hate that every thread you insert yourself into disintegrates into a poop throwing contest between you and the far rights. The rest of us dont like getting covered in shit while trying to talk about something not directly related to the president for once.

Weren't you the one who started ranting about communism and something about health care and socialism when the topic was taxing text messages?

Follow along seahawk. I know you want to blindly jump on the pile if you think you smell your agenda being threatened. My comments were regarding the policy of taxing text messages and the comments about california exiting the union. Which, of course, is directly related to the original topic. Thanks for your concern though, you have helped this thread tremendously. Grab a pitchfork- someone doesnt agree with us!!!!
PHD is right. Politics have ruined this board and in part my Jayhawks escape. One of a suprisingly few winter joys. Sweet...I'll stay out of this cesspool for awhile and focus on other things.

sorry you feel that way.
but what in the actual eff? How do so many people who hardly even post on the politics board get so upset about the politics board?
If one thinks it's so bad, why not just ignore it?
and doesn't it seem silly to say "I quit posting about basketball or other sports or smack talk or satellite coordinates because of the politics board?!
with all due respect, if one is really so upset by the politics board, then maybe the issue is not the politics board itself, but perhaps one's own internal issue with getting too worked up about politics in the first place?

If you're not far left leaning then this area of the message board isn't for you.

Everyone does realize that they can simply not use or read the politics boards, right?

If some people can't see how more conservative posters (hell, even moderate posters are labeled republicans) are treated differently then they're not paying attention.
Maybe it's unintentional, but many on the left are not very tolerant of views that don't directly line up with theirs....and then this board has a liberal mob who rally together to attack anyone with even slightly different views than theirs....often times backing the poster into a corner while they argue points that weren't ever made half the time.
It doesn't bother some people. Some people it bothers....but the several year long meltdown because Trump won has ruined many aspects of what was supposed to be a Jayhawk sports focused messageboard.
