Even though he has no reliable jump shot, I always feel at ease when Garrett is on the floor.
His ball handling, rebounding and defense are badly needed for this team.
The problem is that Garrett’s mere presence on the floor screws up our spacing and rhythm, because he doesn’t have to be guarded.
well if he doesn't have to be guarded, then what's it do to the spacing and rhythm if we put the ball in his hands?
Opens up his passing lanes.

It's where we need depth.
It's the only position where we don't seem to have a quality backup. You could say we don't have one for Dedric as the big, but both Lightfoot and McCormack are miles ahead of where Moore is at their respective positions.

Im not entirely sure what Dedric even said there.
They were asking O about his first game. Dedric starts yelling “he the man. We knew. We knew.” So they asked Dedric about Ochai, because Ochai was being modest and giving right answers.
“He came in, um, you know he got bounce. He come dunk one, we like dang. You know, he hits his shot. I was like, he staight, ain’t he.”

more than anything I think I've been calling him Young Och.
at what point can we give him a whole new nickname?
Like, "Rafters," but without the helicopter dad?

Watching it after the game, I laughed at the idea of the journalist who asked it, needing an interpreter.
Dedric gives great interviews. But definitely need to know his jive.
Grimes is the one needing the most work from Sports Siren.

Agree. I guess i misunderstood the initial intent of the statement.
Im totally onboard with MG spelling Dotson at PG.
I thought there was discussion of moving MG to pg for extended stretches next to dotson to help minimize MGs shooting deficiencies. If Dotsons in I want the ball starting in his hands.

Making it easier for him to work, pass, etc.

MG has been driving to the hoop more often and better as of the last few games. Not finishing all of them but he is getting there.

At this moment in time, MG is at worst our second maybe third most important active player on our roster.

I'd say 4th. Dedric. Dotson. Vick. MG.
MG is doing well...but we've got several more losses without Vick.
