I'm just going to assume that we will lose the big 12 and probably lose in the second round of the tourney until I see improvement from this team. Why get my hopes up when they have given me no reason to believe in them? Hopefully they get some of the top freshman next year because what we have now isn't cutting it - especially with Dok and Lawson probably leaving.

This is the worst KU team I've seen in a long time.

No doubt about that....but still a top 5-10 team in the country this year....so it's all relative.

I’ve said it all along that Self struggles when he has a deep bench and thus can’t find a consistent rotation. We all should have seen this coming when Self couldn’t figure out how to play Doke and Dedric together.

This team is fragile and mentally soft especially when your “senior” is the worst of them all. I shudder to think about this team going to Manhattan and Lubbock.

That being said about last years team, there is absolutely nothing this team does better then the conference. Last year we could at least say we could shoot better than most. We are relying on Garrett to be our second scorer? Sure this team could or might click later but right now they are clueless. The lane is packed tight now with no spacing because of the lack of shooters. Moore saw no time the second half much less Mitch. We bring in KJ to help? Not sure why you pull the redshirt off a guy that has shown nothing but huge promise every game he's played and he can't find the court all the sudden.

I get Ochai is young and maybe overwhelmed in an environment like WVU but I still think he does better things than KJ brings.

We do NOT have a deep bench. At all.

Charlie Moore is awful. Kj is awful. DMac is barely able to get on the floor (but he show a lot of promise)...mitch is mitch.

This is our worst team talent wise in a long time now that we don't have Dok (or SDS for that matter)....maybe even when we did have Dok.


The thing is, we're actually pretty good as a team somehow. Partly because college hoops teams around the country aren't as good as usual?...we're fine. We always struggle at WVU.

Then this might be the most overrated team in the entire Self era because preseason with the supposed talent we had on paper I said this team was Nationals championship or bust.

That was figuring Udoka AND DeSousa into the mix.
The frontcourt was going to be our strength.
Now it isn't nearly as strong ( though Dedric is killing it ) as expected.

Hopefully this is our annual Big 12 road turd like we normally have at Okie State but I have a bad feeling about this season. We are now 1-3 on the road this year and stunk in all 4 of them.

This team has at least 2 more B12 losses left in em.
