Well of course, but the majority of women are not interested in the same fields men are. If one doesn't know this, I don't know what to tell you. It's like trying to say the sky is blue and someone denies it. Being a good mother is arguably the most important job in the world and it isn't appreciated enough by our society that thinks both sexes have to work to provide value.

You probably haven't looked at Engineering school graduating classes lately.
Of course not. And he has no clue what is the most common reason for women dropping out of the profession. The most common stated reason is inequality in pay and good old boy misogyny in some of the big firms. On the plus side those extremely smart women engineers need to work somewhere and so we hire them as fast as we can. We have three women partners one of whom is the most profitable partner in the firm by a factor of more than 2X and the past president of a national engineering association. I celebrate the difference between troglodyte thinking and our corporate culture every time I get issued a dividend check.

Peterson is hugely successful for a reason --
Hmmmm....there does seem to be a lot more simple ass mouth breathers telling women to get their asses back in the kitchen than a few years ago.

Is that what you meant?

There are lots of reasons for pay inequality, many of them justified. Women are more likely to work less, call in sick more, leave work to have children, etc. Men are likely to work longer and harder and take on roles in leadership and men don't have to leave work for children (aside from single fathers). Again, just nature rules, not mine. I'm not saying all examples of pay inequality are fair, but most of them are.

You have anything besides your assumptions to justify that?

Oh Lordy.
I’d love to respond with thoughtful discourse, but where would I begin? He’d just double down like his President.

I sat through a college graduation for the School of Engineering last year and there seemed to be quite a few young women who were going into engineering. They were even getting many of the Top Student awards for their specialized area.

Was sitting next to a grandson who was going into the School of Nursing.

Ummm this topic is about the sky being blue.

Not another place for you to talk about yourself and pat yourself on the back. Goodness you're self absorbed. I can't count how many times you post multiple paragraphs just talking nonsense about how special you are. Or sharing some stupid story like some fabricated graduation.

Trying to contain my sadness that Nostralobster didn't let us know in advance that the yield curve was going to invert this morning, and that the Dow would fall 700 points, (so far), today.
