Right now there are probably 300+ posts per day on the politics board alone?
50. Site is two years old, averages 50 posts a day.

Also, the internet policing around topicality is probably irrelevant here, anyway. The population here is tiny, which is why it's good. It's not like posts that are not strictly about Kansas Football are somehow interfering with the vigorous and multifaceted discussions taking place about Kansas Football.

It took a downward turn when people started making parody accounts of other posters.

Who knew that the plurality of posts on a KANSAS message board is in the KANSAS BASKETBALL forum.

Is anyone here old enough to remember the civil rights protests of the 60s?

What was the vibe like back then?

“That Martin Luther King character should really just shut up and stick to being a minister”

Basically pDub's take. I wish someone would tell the players it's a FOOTBALL game, and not a POLITICS thread.

Well, I think a call for “unity” isn’t political, or rather doesn’t become political until someone dismisses it as political?

Go to the library or book store and see where civil rights are categorized under.
And while you are there, pick up a book about the history of world politics and see if equality is kind of a big topic.

Wait, is the point that civil rights is filed under politics at a bookstore?

Is that a reason to dismiss civil rights?

“Oh, well since it’s just a political matter...”

Just saw that Deshaun Watson's book is number 10 in Christian Self Help category (sorry, my library isn't open). I think all threads on this board should focus on helping out Christians.
