Guys also of note. Not that it really matters. But turns out Coastal is actually pretty damn good.

Beat KU, which eh. But still a P5 program.

But beat Arkansas State soundly and Arkansas State beat kstate.

Went on the road to Louisiana, and beat them in a game they physically dominated Louisiana. If you remember, Louisiana handled Iowa State the first game of the year. First ranked win for them in their history.

Now ranked for first time in history. #24. They were a powerhouse at FCS, now they are becoming a really good program at the FBS level.

Is that more an indicator that CCU is good or that the Big12 is just shitty?

I think a bit of both but more that the Big 12 is shitty.

I don't think the Big 12 is as bad as many think. It doesn't have a runaway school, although oSu is really good.

But I think Coastal is actually pretty good. They wear on teams man. The entire game. They have a C that is like 5'9 and 260 lbs and has given up only a couple of sacks all year. The biggest guy on their starting OL is something like 6'3 and 320. That's pretty small in linemen terms. But they are physical as all get out.

I think the Big12 might be worse than many think.

Which is what is all the more frustrating about the state our football program is in.

Can we trade out OU, UT and ISU with Syracuse, Vanderbilt and Rutgers?

Getting back to Coastal.....
Last game of the regular season could be a matchup of undefeateds when Liberty plays Coastal.
I think Liberty loses a couple before then but I'm not too sure Coastal will.
Zero chance Coastal plays in a BCS Playoff game but will they make a BCS Bowl game if they are undefeated?

Still can't believe Coastal was picked to finish last in polls. Like the media tricked Kansas fans into thinking Coastal was easy, when in fact, they are good.

Fake news.

It's a messed up season. Almost a throwaway.

The only thing you could count on was that we were gonna suck.

Pat Fitzgerald got his 100th win coaching Northwestern last night. Congrats to a great guy!
To offer a little insight - A.R. Kennedy has the most wins for a KU coach in KU football history. 52.

Notre Dame is legit. The ND/Clemson game on November 7th is going to be a very interesting one.
Where will the loser be ranked after the game?

Will we see two teams from the ACC and two teams from the SEC in the "final four"?

Is Kansas State the best team in the Big 12 or is OK State?

Michigan may be the best team in the Big 10.

BYU up 35 with 6 minutes left in the game. Their Punter (supposedly on his own - and not the play call) decided to fake punt. Bad sportsmanship? Would it have been as bad or worse sportsmanship if one or more of the Texas State players decided to try and take his head off?

Kids don’t care. They’re going to do what they’re coached to do whether they’re up 40, down 40 or in a close game. They’ve been told if there is no one there, run. Now they know they can’t trust those kids so they have to truly tell them to punt in this situations. The coach didn’t look happy and from previous videos and interviews, he’s a good coach and good person. Highly doubt that was called.

But if you’re Texas state there is no shame if you destroy that kid. Play your ass off until there is 0:00 on the clock.

Yikes for Trev.

When I feel bad about KU football I stop and think to myself at least I'm not a NU fan.

NU is at least a full decade in of being a complete laughingstock. NU football and everything related is a completely different universe.

Nebraska had 5 wins last year.
Think how good 5 wins would feel.

Nub fans also thought they had a chance at winning their division last year and this year the Nub AD said that by scheduling Chattanooga it would help them with with CFP standings.

On the other hand we as KU fans celebrate when we cross the opponents 50 yard line.
