Pretty spot on for both.
Would just hope for more consistency, but I wouldn't expect a big jump in raw stat production.
Pretty spot on for both.
Yeah, at least Elijah waited until the Sweet 16 to completely shit himself.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:29 pmTy and Elijah were also nails for 2.5 months.
Agree. This was just a mess of a non-plan on offense. There were leaks late in the year that Bill was surprised Dotson stayed in the draft - really?hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:28 pmPreferably two. I know it's not as easy as "rebuild some of the best teams KU has ever had" but Mario/Russ, Frank/Devonte, Devonte/Malik are really a model for how this is supposed to work.jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:26 pmI think it is clear that, whatever Bill's offense has evolved to, it needs an aces lead guard to make it work.hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:17 pm I hate to be a broken record, lol jk I don't give a shit, but there ARE a lot of good pieces on this roster that mean absolutely nothing if we don't get an above average PG. The offense was hard to watch all season. I think Harris is good and by the time he's a senior we're looking at a very good player, but not now and not next season either.
You watched the un-holy trinity of the 2010’s almost. Be thankful you werent at the worst, the Northern Iowa game.hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:32 pmYeah, at least Elijah waited until the Sweet 16 to completely shit himself.
By the way, the last three KU tourney games I saw in person were: KU/VCU, KU/Michigan, and KU/Nova. Fuck me right?
2012 Elijah only.hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:32 pmYeah, at least Elijah waited until the Sweet 16 to completely shit himself.

The one he didn't take in the corner was absurd. If that's not the shot you're looking for, exactly what is?hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:33 pm Agbaji has to be better. Braun has so much talent but no confidence. How many times did he turn down rhythm threes this season? He's way too good to pass on those. In the game tonight he passed on a catch and shoot only to settle for a horrendous looking stepback.
Is there a thread for the toughest-to-take KU defeats in the Bill era? Because I'm solidly Northern Iowa.LVCHawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:33 pmYou watched the un-holy trinity of the 2010’s almost. Be thankful you werent at the worst, the Northern Iowa game.
I think that McCormack will take another step up and that Wilson will improve as well. I think Agbaji will get told at pre draft meetings to put up a thousand shots a day and go back to school for another year a la Svi. I think Braun will be better because honestly, how could he not get better? Harris will be genuinely fun to watch next year. And I think we'll pursue a transfer guard who can score.
Self (and he knows it and has practically said it) has had a very off year running this program. Through recruiting, development, X’s and O’s, you name it... He will cite Covid. Fine. We get it. But still...jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:33 pmAgree. This was just a mess of a non-plan on offense. When Braun is cocky as shit, he's good. And, then he will turn into the exact opposite personality in a heartbeat. Makes no sense.jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:34 pmThe one he didn't take in the corner was absurd. Braun has to be a 6th man type next year. It’s a step back for him, but this team will be better off. That said, Self needs to have the right off-season for this to happen.twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:34 pmI think that McCormack will take another step up and that Wilson will improve as well. Got arrested after that one so I’m with you.hasbeen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:34 pmIs there a thread for the toughest-to-take KU defeats in the Bill era? Because I'm solidly Northern Iowa.
