Well, isn’t the unique transfer rule sitch this year prompting an unprecedented number of transfers?
And I like the optimistic thought that it might mean Och is back.
Or, glass half empty, Bryce didn’t wanna ride pine behind Braun even though he torched the dood in practice on the reg
If he torched him it didnt transfer to rhe game. You have a weird hatred of Braun. It's really odd.

CnB is also right even tho he was joking.
The social media and constant internet access has created an insastiable need for instant gratification that carries over into real life far too often. Some things you gotta work to achieve.
It was a joke because it is an absurd, simple-minded, generalization.
Sometimes you just have the privilege of choice in life. Just like Bill Self chose to derail the life plans of Ty Appleton, Quintrell Thomas, Naadir Tharpe, Latrell Jossell, et al. Maybe coach should have put down the iPhone and been more patient.

Why not? One side decides to move on. One side is villainized and we bitch about irrelevant things like social media. The other side moves on and, welp, it's just business!
Happens in all sports.

We're not going to agree on this. Thats fine, just not worth the effort arguing about it when its not going anywhere.

80% of undergrad students change their major. Americans, on average, change jobs 12 times in their lives.
Realizing life is short and choosing a different path has been going on forever. It's just yelling out clouds to blame social media.
Sports tend to make people's brains fall out.

I can't imagine being mad at kids for wanting to transfer, just can't even begin to wrap my head around it. Then again, I'm not old as fuck.
This is the closest college basketball gets to free agency and I've enjoyed it.

I'm going to sound like a broken record but i'm in the middle here!
People are becoming impatient as a society - and social media is a proven factor.
And while I think giving up on a situation at an early sign of contention isn't the way to go, i'm not mad at these kids ( unless they bitch on their way out ala Grimes or do so without grace ala Frankamp ) for moving on.
Wish Bryce the best. Also wish he had stayed a year or two so we could see him improve/start at KU.

I’ll admit, I’m tough on Braun.
Overall I’m glad to have him - no, really!
But I guess it’s a testament to how spoiled we’ve become as KU fans. I got a little too used to having NBA talent at the wing - guys who can get their own shot, and finish at the rim, and throw down an oop, and beat everyone else down the court for a fast break, and stay in front of anyone on D, stuff like that.

Saying ita shortsighted doesn't make me mad at him

Braun underwhelmed but he's more athletic than you make him out to be.
And he showed something that he was at least decent ( i'd say good ) at - his threat/range from the perimeter - while Bryce never consistently showed anything.

I’m glad they get to choose; lord knows the coaches can.
It’s a hit to the fan experience for me, though. Continuity is nice.

I dunno if anything about last season was “consistent.”
Bryce could at least push the tempo. And yeah his jumper was goofy looking, but it’s not like Braun’s stroke is textbook either.
And I think the biggest/perhaps only real limitation to Braun’s athleticism is his lateral quickness, which sucks, cuz that’s actually really important as far as guarding on the perimeter goes.
But he can at least jump, which begs the question - when is coach gonna lob one back door for Braun?

He pushed the tempo well in spots.
Again, you could see flashes, and injuries threw a wrench in it all, but even in an inconsistent season, he was inconsistent.

I think it makes the players who stick around and together all the more special.
