And what's with the dessert thing? I never eat sweets after dinner. But my Dad always does. Anytime I am over at my parents house for dinner, my Dad is like "what's for dessert"?...lol. Then he complains about not being able to lose weight. And restaurants always push desserts on you.

This is why I know I'm not a huge fan of sweets. I never save any room for desert. Other than the random cookie and the occasional cheesecake, almost all of my sweet consumption is in the morning.

I don't like sweets. At all. The latest trend is adding super sweet stuff to entrees. WTF is up with that? I don't want dessert, I want dinner. I'll be happy when sweet stuff for dinner's 15 minutes is up.

while i would generally agree, last week i had an entree that might change your mind

bison tenderloin with “wojapi” sauce drizzled over the top

i had no idea what the sauce was when i ordered, but was very much pleasantly surprised. not sure which specific berries were used in the sauce.
