This is why I know I'm not a huge fan of sweets. I never save any room for desert. Other than the random cookie and the occasional cheesecake, almost all of my sweet consumption is in the morning.

Restaurants push desserts because it adds $$$ to the ticket.

Mrs 99 will get dessert about half the time we go out.

And it's "loose"

Good margins on desserts. Drinks too, of course.

I am personally a "saving room for another entree" kind of guy. That also does not help the waistline.

We’ve been poking fun about the common misspelling of lose/loose for years now.

while i would generally agree, last week i had an entree that might change your mind

bison tenderloin with “wojapi” sauce drizzled over the top

i had no idea what the sauce was when i ordered, but was very much pleasantly surprised. not sure which specific berries were used in the sauce.

I knew someone would bring that up. My go to sauces are Bryant's and Gates. Both have a little sweetness but not over the top.

Ha. Gates is mine, and I know what you mean although it certainly has sugar.

Have you had SLAP yet? My go-to for competition-style.

Beav got all excited about bringing home some “Kansas City style” bbq sauce he found.

I swear, it was mostly just molasses.
