I neither checked the date nor knew today's date. There is a big black hole in my brain where calendar processing typically resides.

Man, i sure am glad the Chiefs took the chance on Mathieu. He's a freaking beast.

Chiefs just aren't a physical team up front on defense. They also get ZERO pressure outside of Jones. They are also getting blown back 3 or 4 yards on just about every play. That and Jones and Okafor need to stop playing hero ball and play assignment sound football. Stop getting cracked and caved in and play your freaking keys.

Offense needs to focus. Penalties killed that last drive.

Now let's follow this up with another TD when we get the ball to open the 2nd half.

Down 14 would make Jackson much more likely to have to throw and that's advantage KC.

Let's shut them down first

Defense needs a quick three and out. Chiefs, a quick score before half and then you get the 2-1 with the potential knock out in the second half.

This has the feeling of the Super Bowl run defense were they slowly get better. Well at least you hope so because they have looked pathetic against the run and even worse how bad they have looked in the red zone.

That was an absolutely wasted end of the half. Terrible.

Prevent defense prevented shutting them down.
