A smallish receiver who had a damn hard time getting up after a few of the really hard hits he took
So you're saying all of his ex-girlfriends are tougher than he is?

Seems to be the case

Too soon. Ouch.

I love how honest, realistic and self confident Mahomes was in his response to Hill absurd statements. He reminds me of Bill Self in that aspect.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/chie ... nsas-city/

"We've always loved him, we still love him. I saw him out at Formula 1 in Miami and everything like that, but I'm sure it had something to do with trying to get his podcast some stuff and get it rolling. But definitely, I still love Tyreek. He's a one-of-a-kind player."
...
"It's something where I'm sure he's trying to show that he loves where he's at in Miami," Mahomes said. "He loves his teammates."

Odds are that Mahomes is exactly right and that Hill is just trying to drive some traffic to his new podcast and support his new QB. It's a shame he had to lie so absurdly to do it but I don't think his comments were malicious. Just dumb.

The comments were definitely dumb, but it puts him on record asking for targets even when he will be blasted. Tua has a certain middle depth range.

Any WR who doesn't push for more targets should be dropped from the roster so I don't worry about that.

Eh.
If you're a quiet leader or lead by example, you don't need to be vocal about targets, you just get em because you catch em.
Larry Fitz is one of those dudes.

Exactly. Unlike Fitz, Hill has had several drops and blunders in traffic too. Reid tried to keep that to a minimum because he is undersized for hard contact. You ration the traffic touches of your franchise speedster if you are smart.

He really wants his podcast to succeed.
Next thing you know, Mahomes will be the one who broke his child's arm.

A part of me is looking forward to the first time Tua gets him murdered on a crossing route.

Anyone ever attend the Chiefs training camp? St. Joe isn't very fan from me and I wouldn't mind going down there a day and trying to score some autographs. Is that even possible or do you just sit there in the sun and broil and then leave?

realizing this is kind of an asshole post, and it doesn't impact me at all so I shouldn't care....but it always strikes me as odd when a grown man wants an autograph. Is it the monetary value of the autograph or some sort of idolozation that remains from childhood?

I still have a 1985 World Series baseball (not an actual baseball used in the WS, but a WS championship ball) signed by George Brett in 1986. Wonder if it's worth anything? But yeah, I was 13 in 1986 and it was cool, now I would never ask for an autograph. But when I saw Joel Embiid walking around downtown KC 3-4 years ago when Philly played a pre-season game, I chickened out and didn't ask for his autograph, wish I had. I did shout out RCJH and he put up a V sign and smiled at me. Made me feel special...lol.

I would take an autograph of some athlete important to me either signed on something exclusive/limited to just me or limited to just me b/c of that moment in time ( i.e. a significant moment, not me lining up for autographs at a training camp ) and think of framing it -- but it'd have to be unique and not forced.
