recruits/transfers/even upperclassmen get this treatment a LOT from our listed measurements.

Pretty sure Hunter grew an inch to 7'2" too.

and, for Johnny's sake, let's hope he doesn't have Svi wingspan.

But especially at that height, prob a good thing he's listed as a guard.

Good news! If he and the rest of the boys can keep their raping under control, it should be a stellar season.

We've got at least another year or two of enjoying him.

If Gradey Dick can't get on an NBA court then Furphy ain't close. Yet.

He needs about 20lbs of muscle and to gain some lateral quickness if he plans on being an NBA player. He projects as a SG or SF and he's not fast enough to guard most 2s or strong enough to guard most 3s.

Tons of upside though and he can definitely shoot the ball.

Furphy is one of those guys that is just oozing with talent one is showing rapid growth

How many seasons can we realistically hope to have him?

That's where I am at with it.

The Svi path more of less. Gain muscle. Continue to improve his already above average offensive skills. Get those legs stronger over the next couple of years so that his lateral quickness improves.

He's young. He's already getting paid plenty at KU. He's super young so his NBA clock isn't "ticking" like a KM or HD.

I think if he goes after this year at best he'd be a middle to late 2nd rounder and I'd honestly expect him out of the league in less than 2 years. He's simply not capable of playing against grown men yet. And the NBA is full of grown men.

He reminds me so much of Dick.

And while Dick is not dominating as an nba rookie, he was still good enough to go lotto.

Defense and muscle are things one can improve. Size and shooting and running like a kangaroo are things that scouts notice.

Actually do kangaroos even run?

They might just square up and kick box

Let’s say, run like a dingo

If Furphy goes pro after this season I will not mention once or post about how much I hate NIL/the new NCAA for the months of June, July and August.

If Furphy does not go pro after this season you cannot mention once or post about wars in Ukraine/Israel for the months of June, July and August.

What does running like a kangaroo mean? You think he has elite speed? I haven't seen that.

And he's 6'7 180. I'm not being a negative Nancy, but there are a lot of guys his size that can shoot in the NBA. This isn't the 90s. He's basically standard sized NBA 2 in this day and age.

You're always thinking about Dick.
