Fever vs the Sun starting now on ESPN.

It's do or die for the Fever.

The Fever open the 2nd half with a 7-0 run to tie the game!

Rather than concede, the Sun called a time out.

Why is the ESPN TV feed almost a minute behind the website stream?

I have little doubt the Fever are going to come back and win this.

Nice call cheesedick! Does your husband make bad predictions too? Was a good call when the Fever were down 9 when I said it.
Unfortunately Clark didn't do shit in the last 4 minutes - after she hit the 3 to put them up 71-70 and I thought for sure she would play the hero role.
See ya next April CC.

The WNBA needs to figure out how to deserve her.

I can't help but think if the WNBA was "fixed", she would still be playing this season.
I don't know how it could be determined precisely but I am curious as to the difference/s in the amount of $ the WNBA, the sponsors, the "networks", the stadiums/vendors, etc., would make between her being ousted last night and if she played until the Fever won the championship.

Yeah ‘fixing’ the games isn’t what i was talking about. More the blatant bullshit aggression towards her.

But, it’s just rookie hazing, right?

My comment was just in general. Not really a response to your post.
I feel there is "blatant bullshit aggression" towards her for multiple reasons.
I think an issue that the WNBA is having is that there are different ways to play basketball and different types of players who play it. While Caitlin Clark is the best thing to happen to the WNBA in a long time, they need "thugs" to fill rosters.
The Chicago Sky aren't good. So what can they do to get publicity? Sure, draft names and college stars such as Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese but they sit weren't good so they took on the role of being the Bad Girls. They have a coach who instills that mentality. I don't think they will "thrive" on it. Here is Gutterism for you.... There is both a fine line and a substantial difference between them being physical and good and them being being physical and bad. They were bad more than they were good.

Here is what I have a problem with. I truly believe 50% of people who consider themselves to be WNBA fans are not really WNBA fans. They are Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu, etc. fans.
I am willing to bet that 90% of people who consider themselves to be WNBA fans have no clue Napheesa Collier has scored 38 and 42 points in her playoff games, if they even know who the fuck she is.
We all know Lady Jesus (CC) exists. Heck, how many people know the MVP of the league (A'ja Wilson) exists?

I’m definitely no fan of the WNBA, but I can recognize a generational talent, and someone who’s going to change the economics of that league.

As far as the sky goes, The hard fouls go beyond just them.

I hesitate to say there’s a racial element, but it sure seems like it.

Again to me, it’s just fucking stupid to target her, as she is a golden goose for the league.

i could almost guarantee that race exacerbates the jealousy, which is exactly what this is about

Who is "they"? I assume you mean gay black women from parts of the country other than the midwest?
Do you believe that most (if not all) black women don't like white women? Do you believe that most (if not all) gay women don't like straight women? Do you believe most (if not all) people who aren't from the midwest don't like people who are from the midwest?
Or just black gay non-midwestern players in the WNBA don't like white, straight, women, from the midwest?
My bad! We are talking about just one white, straight, midwestern, player in the WNBA
I have no doubt that there are gay black women in the WNBA who don't like Caitlin Clark but I'm not convinced it's solely because of the 3 things you mention.
I mean, no doubt if Clark was black she would be just another player :? but I think it's completely understandable for there to be SOME resentment that there are some outstanding gay black women who are playing in the WNBA, that have paid their dues and have accomplished many things in the WNBA, that don't get anywhere near the publicity Caitlin Clark gets. Ok, maybe/probably/definitely because Clark is white, straight, and from the midwest.
