sorry you guys.

I don't mean to be obnoxious, nor a prick.

But, come on. When others put words in my mouth like, "you refuse to blame other players," even after I just posted blame for other players, I can't help but want to clarify!

And, again, at least I didn't so something as outrageous as suggest certain players should be able to kick the basketball into the stands NFL style.

I dunno how you let shit like that slide while also pointing the finger at me, but here we are again.

The issue is that, once again, for the probably 30th time on these boreds, you've decided to hone in on Dajuan Harris's mistakes.

The guy had 12 assists to one turnover. That's really good!

Why aren't you going into depth about how Zeke played?
Why aren't you going into depth about how AJ played?
Why are your conversations about our failures mostly about Dajuan?

We know why. Do you?

ohhh. why do you know why, CoyDC?

Again, I HAVE blamed Zeke and AJ.

Zeke and AJ are newcomers tho, so there may be a certain benefit of the doubt or may be a certain patience afforded for the sake of settling in, maybe.

Related, maybe part of it is cuz Dajuan's been here so long, too? I was gonna make some comment about how he's been here literally longer than any player ever, but then I remembered Mitch Lightfoot....or, should I say, Mitch "No Coleslaw Extra Sauce" Lightfoot.

If there's another element, and possibly a large/the largest/thee element, to me deciding to "hone in" on Dajuan, it's cuz he's the PG. As such, he plays the position that's prob most responsible for late-game execution and such anyway, in the same way a QB gets disproportionately blamed for team mistakes in football.

For the sake of sports fan message board discussions, I still think my criticism of Dajuan is far less ridiculous than other fans giving Dajuan the pass they give him - and other fans yet normalizing that much, just cuz at least it's contrarian to what BiggDick has to say.

lemme just add - we all have our scapegoats, particular after a loss, and particularly particularly during a rough stretch or season overall.

I've cringed when other posters sustainedly criticize other players yet, too

but I don't feel compelled to chase them around about it, regardless of whether I agree with the severity and/or frequency of their criticism.
