Congratulations to both of you, Trad!

Not necessarily an easy thing to do.
hey thanks!

on another note, Biden set to pardon a bunch of federal weed convictions
I heard a little bit ago he was pardoning "11 people", then heard a few minutes later "thousands who were convicted of low-level marijuana law violations".

Good on him!

Maybe belongs on an NFL thread but.....

Moral of the story.... If you are going to smoke weed in your home, don't leave lighters sitting around for kids to play with?

The first thought that went through my head when I heard about the fire was an Andre Rison/Lisa "left eye" Lopez scenario. I guess this is better?

A clinical trial’s encouraging results won US Food and Drug Administration breakthrough therapy status for an LSD formulation to treat generalized anxiety disorder, Mind Medicine Inc. announced Thursday. The biopharmaceutical company is developing the drug.

“A breakthrough designation is a recognition that a drug has demonstrated evidence of clinical efficacy in meeting an unmet medical need with morbidity and mortality associated with it,” said Dr. Daniel Karlin, assistant professor of psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and chief medical officer for MindMed.

Are there a lot of people in prison for "using or possessing" marijuana?

Long overdue reclassification. Although not sure it matters for the vast majority of weed users.

It should open the floodgates on studies of medical marijuana as well as greatly lowering the taxes paid by producers/dispensaries which should help those who buy recreational weed legally.

A nationwide survey has found that the number of people who use marijuana almost every day in the US has surpassed the number of daily or near-daily drinkers of alcohol for the first time.

Maryland governor to pardon 175,000 marijuana convictions in sweeping order

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore will issue a mass pardon of more than 175,000 marijuana convictions Monday morning, one of the nation’s most sweeping acts of clemency involving a drug now in widespread recreational use.

The pardons will forgive low-level marijuana possession charges for an estimated 100,000 people in what the Democratic governor said is a step to heal decades of social and economic injustice that disproportionately harms Black and Brown people. Moore noted criminal records have been used to deny housing, employment and education, holding people and their families back long after their sentences have been served...

Jesus, what a waste.

Today In: God's way of showing you, you have too much pot.

Anyone who uses even a fraction of that much would have likely become rather habituated to it some time ago, to the point where you wonder, other than his very tell-tale eyes, if he derives much of an effect from smoking?

You hang out with some of the strangest people, Gutter.

A bong rip like that now would send me into a spastic coughing fit that would likely result in a cracked rib or two. It probably took 10 years for my throat and lungs to recover from my early twenties so there is no chance I could do that now. But yeah, I remember days where it appeared that I could not get any higher despite smoking more and more pot in a day. You have reach full saturation at that point.
