You're so above us all Cascadia.
I just feel blessed that you post here so we can just be a part of all that you are.

Remind us again why KU should join the Pac12.
lol, you try to hard. Just because you, illy, twocoach, tdub and usually mjl love being on the wrong side of history doesn't mean I think I'm above everyone here. I respect/appreciate a lot of posters thoughts and opinions.

But, some of you are just so fucking dense you can't handle complex thoughts. However, you're likely to medal in mental gymnastics so you do have that going for you.

A guy who doesn't know the difference between the words to and too probably shouldn't be calling people "fucking dense" and lecturing people on handling "complex thoughts".
You can go fuck yourself and if we ever cross paths you better watch your back.

Yeah I’m kinda curious. But work wants me to get out of it.

Why fulfill civic duty when you can have economic productivity instead? #merica

But I’m supposed to call the night before to see if the trial’s still on. Last time I got summoned, they called it off

OK, what a bunch of shitty people at your employer.

But, depending on how big the Court is where you are summoned, it often doesn't work that way. There may be 2, 3, 4 trials teed up for that Monday.

In my opinion, you will very much enjoy it if you get all the way to a verdict. I would love to be on one.

I had jury duty 5 or 6 years ago. Sat in a room for two days with my laptop and never got called to sit in on a case. Total buzzkill.

Yeah, I think there are caveats to being able to enjoy it. 3-5 days seems about the sweet spot. Don't automatically assume criminal would be more interesting than civil.

I personally would hate to be on some insider trading, SEC, etc. type trial that lasted 3+ weeks.

Ok so lets see on your "side of history"

A. Cops shoot and kill once (same outcome)

or

B. The Cop shoots once....pauses 2 seconds to o assess. Girl gets stabbed anyway, cop fires again. Now we have a stabbing victim AND a shooting victim. (Worse outcome)

Makes sense. Keep educamating all us dumdums, keep up the good fight.

Whoa, that she keeps attacking even after being shot once?

It’s almost like that 16yo girl has big scary knee grow strength.
