Or keeps on playing in the post, for nine more games?
Keeps playing after.

Remy Martin is turning into one of the weirdest sagas of any ku player. And there's been a lot. Josh Selby, legerald vick, Carlton Bragg, Silvio de Sousa, cliff Alexander, chieck Diallo, Billy Preston, probably others I'm forgetting

We know the injury was at least real, we saw him bang his knee. But then it's been some weird roller coaster:

Hes hurt, hes not hurt, hes resting it, hes banged up but playing on it, he rehurt it in practice, he got bumped by the Texas crowds and reaggravated it again, he hasn't played in weeks now

The shitty thing is he seems like a pretty good teammate. Averaged 20 a game last year and came in as a willing passer, people were complaining he wasn't shooting enough here. Im sure he is frustrated with his situation but he still seems to get excited for the team

Remy wants to preserve his chance at a contract somewhere by contending injury kept him out I believer at this point. I understand the concern as he was clearly not comfortable. Embiid I got because he had developed so quickly it was clear that he had an unlimited NBA ceiling. Contrasted with Remy, I understand trying to hang on. What is terrible is that this happened in a replacement game.

Self has "no update" today.

Who is coaching this team? Bill or Remy?

SO FUCKING WEIRD!

It’s been a strange saga.

Considering how many other guys have played and are playing through injury, Remy’s handling is weird. Almost like it’s more just the dog house.

But if it IS the dog house, one can’t help but wonder why Remy’s still hanging around the program.

Whatever it is, it sucks.
We're a top 10 team but with the player we thought Remy would be, I thought we'd be one of those no doubt contenders.

Yea.

Not many programs can loose their preseason conference POY and still be top 10

I guess a silver lining would be, there's four teams above us in Kenpom, I trust Kenpom more than I do the AP, and the no. 2 overall Kenpom team is Kentucky.

Would I be wary to play Duke or UCLA?
Or course.
Do I think we would have a decent ( above 40% ) chance to win?
Yes.

You think Self is forcing Remy to lie about an injury and sit out?

Agreed. Knees and back suck the worst of all the one's I have had. It's not golf where you can limp around.

Self said in presser that he hasn't spoken to Remy, but by all indications, he is schedule to practice today and playing Saturday in Waco is a definite possibility.
